Absolutely always flat side negative. Hey big thumbs up Also to make my camera even weirder, the battery cover indicates positive on the left side, but inside the actual camera its the other way around. What are they smoking at the instax factory

Can someone please help me I did what she did with the battery’s & it won’t work so I did it the other way supposedly the “wrong way “ for the battery’s it turned which is the orange thing from the back but but it won’t let it take pictures

I’ve just had the same problem , my instax fall down and I was so worried that was broken so then I change the batteries and I was wrong 🙃 because I put them back , but in a wrong side🤣

This is a silly video. I had the batteries in right because I read instructions but this did not fix the flashing light problem. Not all problems are the same….

DUDE! I bought this damn camera for my kid TWO YEARS ago and could not for the life of me get it to work. Forgot all about the camera. I bought one of these a few years back and used it a couple times before it ran out of battery I replaced the batteries and left it in my closet for a couple of days we went to California we tried to take some photos but saw that it was not working I thought it was the batteries so we stopped at a shop and bought some batteries and replaced them on the car then realized that it still didn’t work so I gave up after a few years I found the camera again so I decided to know what was going on so THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS HELPED ME OUT AND IM SO EXCITED TO USE IT AGAIN ON MY VACATION TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS❤❤

Hey there! my instax mini is 11 years old and recently I decided to use it back after so damn long. However, I am facing a similar issue as you but in my case, there is no blinking lights next to the camera lens but only red light on the viewfinder. Send help please :(

Nope mine r right but there freaking lights are blinking yes I’m using alkaline with 1.5v yes the camera is on when I put the battery’s in! IT WONT WORK AND ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!
