I believe this was from a media night previewing the show for content creators so that there is room to set up tripods and what not, so there were only about 30-50 people watching it. Most likely the reason for the lack of applause.

Disney's projections are 100% better they recently just got new projection system for Tower of Terror and it's amazing!

...even though they use the same projection system? Hogwarts Castle's surface is much more complicated than Cinderellas Castle. TOT is close, if not a little more complex

disney just shows scenes from movies and its boring. This actually uses the castle and is about harry potter only.

Total Shots they start as soon as the sun goes down and it happens every 20 minutes until the park closes

So it's a few years later for this comment but hey, screw it. This is only in Islands of Adventure as there is no Harry Potter show like this in Universal. Instead over in Universal there is a new lagoon show (opened up about 3 years ago) called the Universal Cinematic Celebration and is a similar projection show on the buildings of New York as seen from Central Park. It has more fireworks included in the show, plus lasers and water screens. 2019's HHN also had a lagoon show using that set up called "The Marathon of Madness" that included some of the IPs of that year: Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and the Universal Classic Monsters.

This show is on repeat every 20 minutes throughout the night. Just saw it in person and the area is not built to handle massive crowds for a full 15+ minute show.

Which is why they're redesigning the land DC used to take up for this. It took them long enough.
