it is actually so interesting how they made new voicelines for Jing Yuan when fighting Phantylia they didn't have to, but they did loved this one, but it didn't end on the best conclusion some mysteries remain unsolved, and hopefully they'll be answered soon
I’ve never been this stressed in a boss fight ever in hoyo games, all of my characters died right when phase 3 began 😂, so trial Jingyuan and Luocha were carrying me the whole fight. I was barely getting by cuz of those dam flowers and was sweating the whole time lmao . But the visuals were very cool and I enjoyed the quest a lot
@@KamisatoFayato I think that's a pretty good route tbh Players wont finish everything too quickly, leaving the next few patch a little bit empty(Genshin as example, you finished Archon quest in the first 3 versions, then just some lore filling, and then nothing for the next 3-4 patch)
@@mechchococh.4313I mean it's is still a good route. Giving people the content(archon quest and story quest ie. particularly of an archon) they want early and then giving casual things(festivals and summer event) later down.
@@marygracecabajar9983 If they continue the routine of Filler patch -> Main Patch -> Filler... Then the next main patch will most likely be close to halloween
I expected this story quest to be good but gosh, it was way too good. The past Xianzhou story quests were just running errands but at least this one was exciting and thrilling. I enjoyed this so much, now this makes me want to pull for 5* dan heng now. Tingyun is probably dead too, look what they did to my waifu😭😭
oofff sorry to hear. my plan is to always upload full quests for anyone who happens to miss them, subscribe or check my channel if this happens again!!
We haven't seen if tingyun is dead Bailu hasn't played a part Jing yuan just passes out And the trailblazer is left without a 3rd path If this truly is the end of the Xianzhou storyline then there's only one way to describe it Unfinished there's no feeling of finality to the story if it stopped here
Please, there’s absolutely no way this is the end. Like you said, there are too many open ending factors. We didn’t have the triumphant last farewell that we did for Belobog. We’ve only seen one of the many Zianzhou ships out there. We haven’t seen or sealed the Stellaron yet. Too many characters have been absent. Yukong, Bailu, like you said, and most of all, Jingliu. Her relationship with Blade has yet to be determined. Also, this was done in 3 acts. Belobog took 4. Did we have a “final boss?” Yes. Maybe so. But I doubt this is the true end.
@captainblue5096 especially considering how methodical hoyoverse storytelling is you can't right a masterpiece like Jarilo 6 and then tell me this is all you've got for the following world I'm looking foward to the true conclusion to the story of the Xianzhou In 1.3
This could be the end of the Xianzhou Luofu Storyline given there's an entire alliance of Xianzhous, and the story continues on the other 5. Also the trailblazer would probably need to get in touch with a creature (Doom Beast - Nanook) or artifact (Flame Lance - Qlipoth) associated with Lan for Hunt MC to be available, which should happen before the actual Xianzhou final boss fight
@@KudaGeatsune3821 I feel like the continuation wont be in 1.3, just my guess though idk they may do main story patch - filler patch - main story patch - filler patch - etc but its really just my hunch ,-, wait actually now that I think about it, Dan Heng IL and Fu Xuan is coming in 1.3 as they were already drip marketed by hoyoverse so actually, maybe the story will continue in 1.3
its Only The interlude Right Now, More is Coming Soon, And it Doesnt End There Since When They Took Yuan Back To The Palace Thats Where its Gonna Continue.
not going to lie i preferred the belobog story quest this was just didn’t really hit tbh but this part is where things are really getting good! they pulled out all of the stops which is awesome.
hmm maybe you could play with a controller! my plan is to always upload full quests for anyone who happens to miss them, subscribe or check my channel if this happens again!!
Right, I had a much harder time fighting Cocolia but maybe its because we fought Phantylia in the story so they made her a litle bit easy (and also we had Jing Yuan to help), she may be harder in the Echo of War idk
IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW THE HSR LEGENDS PORTRAY THE OTHER LORD RAVENGERS, and EVEN THE LORD OF DESTRUCTION NANOOK it legendary enemies and boss fights as good and SUPER DOPE as PHANTYLIA!!!!!!!!!!
They really went all out on the track for this quest, Dan Heng's song Samudrartha is my new favorite right alongside Phantylias battle theme. One of the things I've been wondering is, if all the Lord Ravagers have their own philosophy when it comes to destruction, will four out of the seven be based off the four horsemen? I can kind of see them doing that but with their being seven they might end up giving two the same philosophy but with two different approaches.
It's an incredibly cinematic quest, it's such a shame that I can't find any substance in it. There's a chance they'll expand on Dan Heng/Dan Feng's relationship with Blade and Jing Yuan later, but for now, I'll just say that it came straight outta nowhere and confused the hell out of me. Blade's trailer obviously indicated a deep tie to Dan Feng, so I was expecting to see some of it. And we got nothing. We lost. Good day to us. Yanqing also immediately f**ked off after that fight, I guess. Don't help out or anything, buddy. I don't see the point of Stelle/Caelus being there at all. Obviously I don't think the entire game has to revolve around our protagonist, but it is OUR protagonist. We see the world through their eyes. So when they get nothing to do, I don't see the point of being there. And even though Jing Yuan and Dan Heng did all the work, WE get rewarded with an eidolon? It felt more like "Woops, we forgot to write something for you. Here, take this I guess". Don't even get me started on how there's no new path for Stelle/Caelus, that's such a massive disappointment. Phantylia is also a very beautiful and well designed boss... graphically speaking. In terms of story, she again came outta nowhere. Remember meeting Cocolia at the beginning of Belobog and work on discovering her reasons for the madness throughout the story? You get none of that here, just evil space woman bad. Evil space VERY BEAUTIFUL AND FUN TO FIGHT woman. I'm very confused on what to feel after playing this patch. On the one hand, it's so fun to play. On the other hand, the story's so stupid. But it's so good! But it's so dumb! But it's so good! But it's so dumb!!..
@ImbibitorLunaes Why do you feel the need to defend the story? Of course if you bend over backwards, there's an explanation for everything. Flat earthers have a million explanation for their beliefs, but that doesn't make it true (I'm not at all trying to compare you to flat earthers, just a bit of hyperbole to illustrate my point, pls don't be offended). 1./ Yes, that was mentioned at the beginning of the game, but not Phantylia herself. I don't see how random mention of any Lord Ravager is enough foreshadowing for a specific one. My problem with Phantylia is that she's written as a twist villain with the sudden betrayal and neck twist, but if you've watched movies with good twists before, you'd know that the thing that makes the twist is not the twist itself, but the foreshadowing and build up before it. There was literally none for Phantylia. She's still a very cool boss to fight, I'm just saying she was failed by the story writing department. 2./ Them having similar faces can just be a case of Same face syndrome. Blade and Nanook has basically the same face as well, so does that connect Jing Yuan and Nanook as well? How about Silver Wolf and Bronya? Literally the same person, but you'll have to bend your mind in 4D to find a connection between them in the game. 3./ Yanqing disappointing Jing Yuan isn't the dynamic I was seeing in that fight. But even so, if there is a reason why Yanqing was not there, they could have showed it to us. There wasn't even any implication, or acknowledgement that he wasn't there afterward. Imagine this happening in a movie, you'd be so confused. 4./ The no path thing is again what I complained about. There was no reason for Caelus/Stelle being there. If you take the events at Scalegorge and remove everyone but Dan Heng and Jing Yuan, there'd be no change to the story whatsoever. In Belobog, everyone helped Stelle get up to fight Cocolia. Here it's just Dan Heng and Jing Yuan's show. Everyone else plays no role in it whatsoever. Again, I still loved the fight. It's bad writing is all I'm saying. In the end though, the thing that baffles me the most is why you think you need to defend what you got. I'm criticizing the game because I want to see a better version of it. I'm sure you do as well, so what's the problem? Are you okay with the presentation you get in Xianzhou being the norm? Instead of an actual adventure with friends involvement we got in Belobog? With a villain that actually is involved in the story? If you preferred the way the story was presented in Belobog, guess what, I'm advocating for you as well. And don't think I haven't noticed the ad hominem attacks in your reply. I'm just assuming you were angry for some external reason.
@ImbibitorLunaes I never said you're not allowed to like it. Everyone has their opinion, if you liked it, that's great. I'm just saying that it was poorly presented and badly written. I did not compare you to flat earthers, I used flat earthers as a hyperbole example to my point. I didn't apologize, because I said nothing that needed apologizing. Be mad at me if you want, but it's just the fact that the Xianzhou's story was badly written. It was all spectacles and no substance, and should've been worked on longer. If that's your cup of tea, again, that's fine, I don't blame you for liking it. I'm just disappointed that we got such a poorly written story after Belobog's story having both spectacle and substance combined.
I’m pretty sure that the story ain’t done yet. I mean at least from what I’ve seen in leaks- we’re not gonna be done until like 1.5 so perhaps hold your horses on complete story judgement until it’s officially done. It would be pretty disappointing though if just like Inazuma in Genshin we get an underwhelming and quick story wrap up.
@@minako_mini4071 Oh yeah, for sure, I don't think the story in Xianzhou is over yet. Still too many knots left untangled. Knots that are typically untangled... before or during the climax, but... oh well. I'm just saying what we got here was badly presented. I'm sure they can make good story again later, just wish this was good also.
Not gonna lie I'm gonna be upset if this is the end of the xianzhou arc and they really killed a playble character. There has to be some other thing about to happen, Blade past hasn't been fully explained yet and Bailu pretty much did nothing, in jarilo IV pretty every character but Pela had some significant contribution.
It says interlude, so I think there will be more. There is no way this is the end. We haven’t even seen Jingyuan wake back up. It’s definitely kind of annoying that they keep giving us this story in drips. I actually wish we had simply another filler patch but in 1.3 they give us the complete story. I feel like it loses a lot of momentum this way.
If youll dont know why Blade hates Dan Heng then let me tell you. Long ago Jing Yuan,Jingliu, Imbibitor Lunae,Blade and a foxian named Baiheng were part of a legendary group called the High-Cloud Quintet. The Group ruled over the Xianzhou and were its guardians. But slowly the group broke up. Blade was killed but Lunae revived him after which he heard strange voices in his head which made hik go mad, then Lunae was accused of Treason and was exiled from the Xianzhou then Jingliu was mara-struck making her go on a rampage to the point Jing Yuan had to seal her forever and at last Baiheng chose to walk the path of the Nameless and left the Xianzhou.
Dan heng keeps silents and Jing yuan says with a smile "The choice is yours Dan heng" but yet you accept and do what you have to do :"D still it is cool that they agreed, but it kinda annoys me that my character dosen't say anything to Dan heng, what the hell happen? i am not mad at Dan heng xD
Currently, we're assuming he gave someone, who we think is Blade, immortality...given how much of a bad thing that was, it made sense that Dan Heng would be banned from the Xianzhou bc of it.
