Once again I'm proven correct...My favorite Buckethead Pike is always his next one The last one rocked, this one rocks more, the next one will be even more epic
I lost my friend the day of the release of the pikes. Before he passed away I listened to all the pikes and I had all my memories with him discovering Buckethead begin to scroll in my head. All that in a beautiful sunrise like I never saw. It's was the most beautiful experience with Buckethead I never had and when he died, after some days I listened back to this pikes. And he is by far the most important and most meaning for me. Buckethead you without willing did the best honor to my friend.
THE MASTER CAN'T NEVER STOP WORKING HARD !!! THE SMILE ON MY FACE TO BE ALIVE WHILE BUCKETHEAD IS! THANK YOU BUCKETHEAD! MY CHILDREN AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH !
I really hope you're getting monetized for this incredible gift... each and every single/album you've been posting during all these years. Just amazing, thank you kindly Sir.
How is it this dude drops killer music on the daily... And it takes TOOL ten FN years to drop an album with only 12 songs???? Who is the real genius here??? I'm a Tool fan... But come the hell on. And Hats off to you brother. I so enjoy what you do. Your music saved my life. No joke.
Ha! I'm also a huge Tool fan and just discovered Buckethead a few weeks ago and have been binge listening ever since. The dude is indeed a genius. GOAT!
It doesn't take ten years to make twelve songs, something was influencing their productivity. BH is just more productive as he doesn't have any distractions.
I think this album is pretty awesome. Most of the recent albums are different and there are not so many guitar solos. But there is a sad feeling on this pikes. The music is more "by heart"... I am sure that our lovely musician evolved and I can't stop listening to this.
As most of us know Buck has always been a big Halloween guy, and he has not disappointed again this year. With all the negativity in this world Buck has always interjected with monsterous riffs, licks to die for and a neverending love for the 6 string (7,8 or whatever ) weapon of musicians. Hope to see 300 when you are ready my dude.
There is a reason B will never be categorized as Pop or Rock…he’s to versatile and his music has so much depth. He says more with a guitar on one Pike than some artists say over the course a few albums. The guitar seems to be an extension of his body, mind and soul. Thanks for just being yourself B.
Agree. Absolutely awesome. No words to really describe how good it really was. The whole album. IDK if you know Tangerine Dream, but this is them on steroids. So clean and incredible and Uplifting.
Absolutely grateful for the music and amount of heart n soul that Buckethead puts into his music. 💞+(+(+(+(+(💞 Thx for the upload. Hope you are doing well🔥🤘🖤🤘🔥
@@loosmaster The drums most definitely are programmed. To the best of knowledge, drum programming and mixing of the Pikes series is attributed to Dan Monti (aka Del Rey Brewer). At least that was the case with the earlier Pikes that still came as physical copies with a sleeve and full credits ;-) I'm pretty certain Bucket records the guitar to programmed drum tracks, then adds the bass in a second pass and finally mixes in some effects like those keyboards.
When I was young (25 years ago) my cousin dressed as bucket for Halloween. I will never forget it, just a little kid wondering 💭”what a weird costume, what is it? Man he’s tall, I don’t know what a buckethead is…….” My cousin replied he’s a musician. Then a couple years later I found “secrete recipe” and pretty much kept ejecting it over and over again until I figured out what buttons not to press so I just kept going to 1992 when he was ripping solos to interworld.
This is more like the other side of Buckethead that I'm accustomed to. He seems to have a pretty good grip on the situation. Not what I expected in some of the lead lines yet spot on with the chords. I'm slowly learning his language, I can push more than he can yet I know I need to hold back to make things stretch a bit like he does. I detected a touch of Trent Reznor on this album.
Buckethead inspired me to play guitar. The composition on this is lacking for me. However I'm a big enough fan to appreciate listening to his stream of consciousness in improv, or on these pikes. I'll listen to everything buckethead writes but I may not listen to everything twice. Thanks for the Album B
Did anyone else purchase this Pike from Bandcamp but it does not appear in your collection even though it's still in your list of purchases? Bandcamp says the artist deleted it. Obviously not a big deal at all (would be happy to donate to Buckethead regularly and get nothing in return...he's given us all so much). Just curious if anyone else has experienced this?
I LOVE BUCKETHEAD but ONLY his music and HIS MUSIC.......ONLY yeah, I’m aware he’s done LOADS & LOADS & LOADS of stuff with OTHER bands & artists but I’m not interested in that I’m only interested in HIS albums & pikes, yeah, HIS STUFF & HIS STUFF ONLY this new pike is AWESOME 👏
