Tool Life Management is coming in the next couple of months so keep an eye out for that one! I will add resetting the home position after the batteries have died. That's a great suggestion and that does become a bear when those batteries go bad. I will add that topic to our growing list.
Hi Mark, Can you do some simply how to video's on the ihmi control. For example, how to create graphics blocks for such as on a 4th axis. How to edit or create fixed forms. How to use the tool manager, (make adjustments on screen layouts, adjust wear offsets while machining). etc
Steven, we are shooting new videos very shortly and one of the videos is how to use the tool manager on the iHMI control. Those will be released sometime early next year.
A video on the new iHMI controls is coming soon. (these all have plus controls on them) I will add this to our growing list of topics and do my best to cover it in a future video. Thank you for the feedback!
The tool life management video will more than likely drop in May. Keep an eye out for that one! I will add the probe crash detection to our list of topics. Thank you for the feedback!
Just circling back around, the tool life management video is coming out this month and I cover the tool life management screen as well. Thank you again for the feedback!
Very good tip. The reason you have to powwr down your CNC is because when you powewr on it will do a Sram data back-up. I also recommendo to unlock your 9000´s programs , so taht way the CNC will back them up also. Best regards.
Is this a new machine you are working on? The older controls did not have this function, that could be your problem. Let me know what year model the machine is.
Hello. It would be great if you show how to use Keep Relay K5.4 for the lathe machine and rotate the turret manually to adjust the position after crash and 2118 alarm is appeared ))))
Thanks for this video. This process was so non-intuitive that it confirmed my evaluation process to not buy a Doosan. New control please and then I'll reconsider.
More episodes please. We have multiple Doosan machines in our shop and these make a great reference for our machinists. Your competitors (Haas, Mazak, etc.) do a greeat job of making videos available, you are missing an opportunity to build goodwill with your customers.
Right ! Some hobby machine brands do 10x more free video information than Doosan, it's incredible in 2020 ! Finally something it's change (very little bit )
Thank you for the feedback. At Doosan we strive to give our customers good quality videos with topics our end users suggest. The pandemic has thrown a lot of monkey wrenches in our plans to put out more videos but we are pushing through those road blocks. Keep an eye out for more videos coming starting in May. We appreciate the feedback and we strive to put out more videos in the coming months.
