I love what you guys are doin! This reminds me of my first bike ever, an '82 RM 465, even had the DG exhaust. I wanted a bike SO bad growin up, and my parents would not budge. I told them as soon as I turn 18, I'm gettin a bike. That's exactly what I did. My buddies brother was selling the 465, bored .30 over. Talk about a steep learning curve! I loved that bike, it just sounded like a monster! I live in a hilly area of southwest PA, and that thing would dig trenches. I could pull the front end up through all four gears easily. I was able to outride my friends who rode all their lives in a short time. My next bike was a brand new '99 KDX 200. Wish I woulda hung on to the 465 though!

I have a 81 rm 250. My friend owed me a few bucks. I took possession to square the debt. It has a neat story behind the original owner. He had the bike built to race Supercross. He raced for a year and a half. He didn't get the sponsorship he needed, so he quit. The # on the plate is 34 I think. This bike I found looking beat down. But when I got it running, it's a freak of nature! I've rode most of the bikes out there, this is my favorite. Amazing suspension, too much power and feather light. 53 year of riding, this was my biggest surprise ever. I love bringing these old bikes back to life. Never know whatcha gonna get! My RM125 was like a light switch - keep it in the power band with the 6 speed transmission. Great geometry and easy to stuff it into corner and blast out of it. Mark Barnett, Jeff Ward, Roger Decoster etc.

maybe it’s my middle aged eyes…but that RM still looks like the future to me as my teenage memories would have it….

Riding it like it’s stolen. The most artistically, beautiful bike at the time.

I cant wait to post what we do with my dads 81 survivor! It is crazy that those shrouds made it, my dads was low hours but the shrouds were cracked bad.

Those air cooled 125's were so light and fast in the 80's! I used to ride a 81 YZ125 and that thing would fly.

Killer suzka! I had a similar 82 by 125 cubes in the 90s, that ride also looked familiar when driving along people’s yards at night. Oh these times 😁😎

Oh yeah, nothing like a round fendered Suzuki ! I remember Mahk Bahnett the bomah and I remember sneaking into the Pepperrell MX track from the woods many times ...
