And I, like many others, happen to really appreciate Patty. And that is in large part because of her mobility emphasis. I struggled with injuries and pain a lot. You showed me how important mobility is, and I started working on it. Now, I have no injuries or pain. It helped me progress in my workouts since I can push further. Your positivity is very contagious, and these follow-along videos are great. Love your content.

exactly same experience here. but my workout is skateboarding. it feels like my body is slowly adapting and everything is getting to the right place again. if this keeps getting better and better, i can go crazy on my board in no time. i can't wait :D p.s. i just did the atg split squads so far. can't imagine how healthy my body becomes, if i do everything

I have joint problems, I've been in a lot of pain since I was a child and your videos on mobility (not just that, but you in general) have helped me, helped me not to feel so much pain, helped me psychologically as well to stay focused... Happy Sunday Patty! You are an inspiration to so many people. But always remember to stay inspired yourself. Not sure where I'm going with this but I hope it lands well. A lot of people look up to you, and it's obvious you care. You're very down to earth, you're making educational content, trying to help people better themselves, you always respond to comments. Maybe it gets tiring, and it wears you down. If it does, I just want you to know that I'm rooting for you, and I care. I want you to be happy too. Happy Sunday Patty 💪❤️ I’ve been doing the following post workout routine for 3 years now: - Seal pose - Child’s pose - Hero Stretch - Pancake stretch - Reverse Plow - Butterfly stretch - Figure Four stretch - Thoracic stretch laying laying down - Sitting Hip and Back stretch - ATG split squat All of them suck pretty bad. I’m not forcing myself or anything. I really hate the Hero Stretch. There’s nothing Hero about It. They should call it _The Bad Person Stretch_ or _The FML Stretch_ because that’s what I say every time I do that stretch and the reverse plow.

Patty and I warming up before training: Patty: You have to warm up or you'll get hurt. Me: But I don't want to Patty: Warm up or you have to do a triple routine and you have to wash the dishes. Me: okay 4 seconds later: (I don't warm up and I get injured for the 2nd time)

You don’t feel like staying mobile is a trade off with lifting heavy weights? I definitely feel like it. Heavy deadlifting doesn’t hurt my mobility. Squats destroy my mobility. I’m 40 and now I prefer mostly pulling exercises and not compression type stuff like squats and overhead presses. I remember Cory Everson saying the muscles should be long and flexible, not short and bulky. She was a gymnast too like yourself. I’m kind of taking her advice and using your videos too.

I think different strokes work for different folks.. I’ve heard some strength athletes express they believed their stiffness benefited their lifts.. long term idk tho.. they also say they have a lot of pain daily so… for athletic and health longevity I think mobility is important!

Hell yeah! Not enough lifters prioritize mobility like Patty does. I've been doing some modified split squats with my front leg on a plyo box like you showed, but I haven't been lifting up my front heel. Should I start doing that to get a better range of motion?

For the split squats I was told it’s ok to have heel touching or not touching. But if you’re able to do the full ROM with your heel on the ground it means you have really good ankle mobility 💪 so that’s awesome 🙌

Patty can you please make a video around starting a diet and tips to stick to it! I dropped 20lbs calorie counting in about 3 months but got sick of the diet and went off track two months and now I’m back (slightly worse than where I started). Any help would be appreciated. Yes! Thankyou Greyson 🙏 I think continuing to track your intake but implementing a wider variety of foods would benefit you if you’re getting sick of the same old thing. I like using a free app like MyFitnessPal to just see the macros in different foods and switch things up. And with time you’ll eventually be able to better guesstimate serving sizes as well

I know you joked about giving us another outfit to look at, but dude, you know what? I've followed along with this like 20 or so times, and I decided this was my favorite outfit. At first, I was like oh na, she's trying to be a Star Trek villain." It grew on me, though. You have an underrepresented body type, and the outfits overall design shows how peportonal you are. It looks good on you 👍

I feel not a lot people tackle on mobility enough. Mobility stretching is underrated and undervalued. Great video.

Another beautiful and chill sunday with Patrisha uwu Always thank you for taking care of us :D I do the thoracic wall extension (among other simple extension exercises) as warmup before cleaning the house, but instead of doing it with my arms open, I do it with my hands together in the center on the wall, and I can confirm, this particular exercise is totally relaxing. Warmup prepares you for any exercise, it's beautiful and healthy, so thank you Patrisha for sharing your knowledge with everyone, you are amazing! Arios! nwn

random as viewer passing by. okay, this warm up looks intersting, I'll try some of that tomorrow (today I guess, 1 am lol) morning at gym. Looks different from my usual warm up for joints and ligaments. Also, I prefer a variant of thoracic wall rotations with a ball between the leg and the wall and thin rubber band in arms to get your back and shoulders have some tension. Feels great :)

I love that there really isn't a perfect routine or workout (etc), and that it is mostly just about whatever you vibe with the best. That said, I think you choose a lot of really good exercises. I adopted a few of the ones you have shown over the past year, and they certainly make a big difference. I always think that if I practiced mobility to the extent that you do that I would be unstoppable.😂 lol I am always impressed at how disciplined you are with it.👍 Great video, Patty!
