That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has one of the most comprehensive and detailed writing in isekai especially when it comes to the world building. So I decided to take a deep dive at nation built by our little slime friend and do a complete breakdown on the Jura Tempest Federation. We'll be seeing how they came to be, the inhabitants of the nation, their government structure, the nation's economy, the foreign relationships and some notable locations found in Tempest.

@@Nakama4Forever I read the novel. I was a fan of light novel before until Arifureta combined everything what was wrong of the 2012-2020 light novel's and made me quite. I only read 1 or 2 per year. But thanks to that i was able to enter on more literature from the west.

JuraTempest Federation is the most powerful country in Military Strength after some point. After Vol 9 and so on. Rimuru and all his subordinants are as or more powerful than true demon lords. Even a single true demonlord like Milim alone can destroy a Nation alone, JuraTempest Fed Has DemonLord Rimuru, Demon Peer Diablo, Demon Lord level Kijins, DemonLord Peers Primoral Trios, all the 700 demons, buffed goblins, star wolfs, dryads, True Dragon Veldora, Demon Lord Dino, İfirt, All the orcs and Geld, all the dragonnewts and Gabiru, Spirits and DemonLord Ramirus, Rimurus friend true DemonLord Dragonoid Milim Nova and all her subordinants, all the dwarfs and some i missed.

I still think the peace conference after the Orc Disaster incident is one of the most interesting in fiction. It sucks the anime glossed over it, but I can understand why. Rimuru made it in everyone's economic self interest to support the new nation. Even former enemies are now incentivized to help each other for their own economic self interest. It's based on Japan/US relations post WW2, The Marshall Plan in Europe and the failure/fallout of the Treaty of Versailles at the end of WW1. Another historical example is the US/British relationship at the end of the American Revolution. The new American government guaranteed all previous deals/debts with British merchants/individuals would be paid. Because the American Merchants needed to make money when trading overseas to pay back this debt, the British Merchants/Nobles pushed for the British Navy to American Merchant ships around the world. The US merchant fleet had the protection of the largest Navy in the world that they had just had a revolution and war against because it was in the British interest to protect their merchant fleet. The more money that can be made from peaceful relationships, the less incentives you will have for wars.

Tempest has 2 powerful Nations (Farmenas and the eastern empire) as vassal states. Is besty with the Dragon dominion, secret co-operation with the Holy empire, non agression agreement and mutual protection with Dwargon and Sarion. And don't forget privilege relationship with El dorado and the northern continent. Damn Rimuru!!!

She already moved her labyrinth there, I think she would make her private hot spring in labyrinth in the next seasons. Rimuru already giving her a cool golem (Baretta), huge research lab, and many cool monsters for Ramiri's labyrinth. There's so many things in Ramiri's labyrinth, he even give her own labyrinth tv shows that broadcast magically all over Jura Tempest.

The world building was so immense. Volume 17 was frustrating. Frustrating because I wanted battles yet he wrote Velgrynd’s pov. I was frustrated, but I was also amazed and impressed. If you compile all the parts about the world building, you’d have 3 or 4 volumes. If not 7. And that takes a lot of work, planning and GENIUS. Everything was clear, and totally not overwhelming. You’d want battles after battles but them youd read this slow, detailed and long chapters about the town, or other kingdom. Amazing. Tho not what I wanted to read, but what I read earned so much respect and appreciatoon more. I dont think the anime or manga can wver give justice to it.

Can you do a complete guide of the military of Tempest? In which you go over who is in charge, the names of the different groups within the military and what they do, military alliances, a timeline of wars Tempest has had, and some of the most interesting battles that Tempest has had.

The world building is my favorite part of Tensura, that and how Rimuru takes the phrase 'united we stand, divided we fall' as his life motto. If this was only about a slime being OP it wouldn't have even left the web novel stage.

You definitely got to cover the Tempest Army next, hell you could cover the armies of Dwargon, Eastern Empire, Western Nation Allied Army, Milim's Army, El Dorado, and Sarion's army too. Most of them don't have nearly as much detail so it'd go quick. Tempest, Eastern Empire, and Milim's being the most detailed. Oh I almost forgot about Lubelious too.

It sounds pretty strange, but both ramiris and veldora could be said that they are in the research department. It it soo strange but logical, vesta abanoned that cave and was transfered to the labyrinth, were he worked along veldora and ramiris (along the demon, not remembere her name, and charys) and develop new armour and materials there. For exmaple, it was their research that allowed rimuru's black numbers battalion to exist, also creating the Dragonite metal that could be used as a extreme conductor for magic that is also very hard to destroy. without mentioning veldora is the battery for ramiris labyrinth, a gold farm for rimuru since many people go there to conquer the dungeon, by a obvious fee. And also he is the last line of defense against anything (altough if teh thing isnt from another world, i dont see the point really)

Some people complain about the world building and “constant talking” but personally I enjoy it, I love watching Rimuru gain allies, outsmarting enemies and slowly building Tempest into a economic and military powerhouse.

One thing that maybe you could correct unless I am wrong, but I believe that Gabiru is actually the head of Development/Research (Ministry of science) I don't think Vesta is the head of anything because he is still considered a guest of the nation and is still a Minister in Dwargon.

The Jura forest must be quite huge if it contains that many settlements, was what I usually concluded. I mean, there were thousands of Goblins and Orcs enough to inhabit a large city.
