Me too!!! It took a few weeks, but the RU-vid algorithm connected the dots pretty well.

Frazier Douglass, you have a great collection of those wide brimmed hats, and I like how you have personalized them. I never would have guessed all the ins and outs of the hatbands. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, and the construction of the hatbands was excellent. I only have a wide brim straw hat that gets used on very sunny days.

mrbr549 It is an addiction. As soon as I buy one, I see another one that i like better. Thanks again for all of your past support. I always look forward to your comments.

I am happy to know, that I am not the only person on this planet who noticed the issues with the hatbands, which are usually too miniscule, too cheap, or not the right preferred color or texture. Thank you. I ordered some Italian leather to make mine after it arrives.

Another extremely informative video... You have many skills and knowledge of many different things, I'm always learning something new from your videos. A full brimmed hat is a must in summer months. Extremely excited to finally get to meet you Frazier, Ava and of course Lalo. Thank you for sharing. Take care.

Strong's Adventures Thanks Billy for watching and posting the comment. As you can see, I have many interests but master of none. I get a lot of requests for cast iron cooking videos but I find them very hard to make - and do other videos instead. Take care.

Love my big "pawpaw" hats. My grandfather was a fan of hats especially the fedora and the summer straw styles.

@@moderntentcamping sadly no, he passed in 64 and the only one I have left is to unstable to wear. I do have several of my own, two stetson, one Buffalo felt 5x fedora ( my oldest) and a specially made signed outback hat that was signed by Bruce Campbell aka Ash from Army of darkness. A few boonies and a couple of crushers . One English newsboy wool that I have no recollection of acquiring. I prefer the boonies for knocking around in and my fedoras for more auspicious occasions. 😆 👍🕵️‍♂️

Thanks for all the ideas. I love how enthusiastic you are about hats. I am just as enthusiastic as you are. I have many many hats and have been wearing them all my life. Do you have any ideas on storing hats? I’m not talking about just in the boxes . I have some thoughts about storage and you might say easy access to what hat im going to wear on any particular day. See i have so many hats its become a addiction you might say. I see a hat and if its what i like and is reasonably priced i will buy it. Ive even went as far as buying a hat and having it restored. I am just a all around hat lover. I am unable to just store them ink the boxes they come in or dont come in. Plus there is the spring and summer hats and the fall and winter hats. Like i said i have some ideas of making a cabinet just for my hats. I wear a hat because i like how it feels and for all the elements or because i just want to near a hat. There are very few days out of any given year that i dont wear one. There is also hat etiquette that i believe many are unaware of. Once i get my idea down pat i will share it with you. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the note Sonny. It’s nice to hear from you. Currently I have about 20 full brim hats and about 50 cadet, newsboy, and baseball style hats. Storage has always been a problem. Currently, I have six short posts positioned on my closet shelves and stack 3 or 4 full brim hats on each post - generally with my favorites at the top of each stack. Some stacks are cool weather hats. Some are hot weather hats. And some are rainy weather hats. I’d like to hear your storage ideas as they evolve.

I have bought a few moderately expensive hats for special occasions but most of my everyday hats cost less than $30. My favorite winter hat only cost $5 in a second hand store. Thanks for watching.
