My 1648 Fisher Marine #jonboattobassboat is finally FINISHED!
This is the boat that kicked off the Fireant Fishing RU-vid channel back in 2016. It was a hybrid build at first, built with 1/8” angle aluminum and 3/4” plywood. It took me 1.5 years to finish out of a 10x20’ Storage Unit.
Now, this boat is everything I wanted. We were also able to complete the build much faster. We used Rectangular Tube 1/16” as the framing material and .090 sheeting. All products used in this build will be linked below.
I built this boat to compete in Electric Only Bass Fishing Tournaments here in Georgia. This boat is 100% electric, which means we had to be very cautious of the weight we added and where the weight was going to placed in the boat so the lower HP electric outboard would perform to its best abilities.
Hopefully, we can test NEW electric outboards out on this boat to show you guys what all is available. Electric Outboards are becoming popular and more well known, however, there are still many companies out there that are unheard of.
This is also a show boat for us, so we payed a lot of attention to detail without going overboard on the design, colors or layout. Keep it simple stupid. #tinyboatnation
I also wanted this boat to represent Tiny Boat Nation and its community. We tried new things on this boat like the Livewell Temperature Sensor, the G-Juice Jizzer and foaming in the aluminum livewell tank. Another new thing is the Electrical Panel being built into the Bow Plate.
