I can watch the amp board building process ALL DAY. Awesome. I also feel for Fernando. I did the sound treatment in the trunk and back deck of my 21 Sentra. Very tight spaces. Not sure how you can do this all day, Everyday. Every time I see you doing this it makes my back hurt just watching. Great job Everyone. Keep up the hard work.
One of the best Video about audio in Mustang I have ever seen! I really appreciate that you share this knowledge with us, thank you! Great job, Regards!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wait, my understating always was that when you run 2x750w subwoofers, then you are going to need 1500w mono amplifier, but the amplifier (lc-1.800) you are running is only rated 800w and you are using two subwoofer, what I believe are 750w each. What is the deal with it?
If the customer ever complained about fueling issues after this install, just scroll to 40 minutes in. Yikes!!!!! I cringed for the customer with where dude was stepping.
Love watching your install videos .. one day I hope to learn these skills .. can you do a video and compare the sound quality of Focal. Audio Frog, Dyna Audio and Morel speakers.
With a laptop, a bluetooth odb connector and a program called Forscan you can switch the factory programming of the headunit. You can shut off factory EQ and put the hu in amplified or non amplified mode, bit of research required but very useful when installing in newer ford vehicles.
Hi Dean, came across your video very informative, I'm gathering all the parts and pieces to do the same on a 22 stang, I'd like to see a vid on just you making the harness with a bit more detail before I butcher my wires! ,seems that no one makes a plug&play harness for my car great vid. Gives me some definate ideas how I will do my system

I know kind of a old video, but I'm hoping for an answer to an issue I'm having with a similar build I'm basing off this video. I'm running audison apk163 for the 3 way and audison apk 6.5 for the rears, had a old unused polk audio d400.4 amp for the speakers. I wish I was able to get a t- harness for the signal wires, but I live in Bahrain (small island in the middle east) and these things are impossible to get here. so I had to tap into the wires as you mentioned at about 12minutes into the video with RCA wires and plugged them directly into the amp. for some really bazar reason as soon as plug in the RCA the amp trips into protection mode and keeps tripping. I'm pretty sure those RCA wires are wired correctly because I also have an old 2 channel mono Kenwood amp laying around and when I plug the RCA into that all is good and sound comes out of the speakers. any ideas why my polk audio amp is tripping like that and not taking the signal? could it just not be the right amp? or its damaged somehow?
Can someone explain the point of using a T-harness? It seems like doing that would send the low level signal from the radio to both the factory amp AND the new amp. Why not just bypass the factory amp entirely? I'm getting ready to do this install on my mustang, and I cannot figure out how front and rear signals get combined into only Left/Right inputs at the LOC.
I have a 2023 and I was told there isn't any way I could get amps for subs and component speakers ?? Is this true I have the 9 speaker system with 8 inch touch screen
You guys are the best. By any chance do you have any install video on a Toyota with jbl system where you install kenwood dsp or Rockford dsr1 I’m want to make a install on Toyota Sienna 2018 with jbl system
Love this channel. Question on the speakers. I'm install a AP4-FD21, and a 5 channel in it. Does this go through the amp as well or does it bypass the amp? I want to get the best, flattest sound possible. I've been out of car audio for ages so it scares me lol
I did my premium mustang and when I have the door close and rev the gas pedal i hear engine noise in the sub but if i open the door and rev it i wont hear it any suggestions?
Hey dean, awesome build as always. Just a heads up, one of your subscribers who is a constant contributor in the live shows scammed me on some gear. Not your problem of course, just wanted to let you know. She even claimed she texts you directly. Beware
@@Harley-bq2sx I don’t want them to waste there time. She’s gone I’m sure. Just didn’t want anyone else getting screwed. She didn’t say she worked for them or anything
These guys are the best !! I’m planning to drive from NY all the way to Florida just to have you guys to do my car’s audio…do you do quotes by phone?? I want to have an idea of how much I will have to spend.
I had a 2021 GT Premium with a manual MT82 transmission. Complete garbage! I could put up with the cheap plastic interior, engine tick and the glitchy electronics, but the drive train was garbage. Kept the GT for 2 months and unloaded it....was a pile of junk. Bought a real car from another manufacturer with a standard TREMEC couldn't be happier...FU FORD! BTW - if you did buy this POS with a MT82 you can join the class action suit!
I had a 19gt, the engine ticked bad when cold and the mt82 sounded like an old graintruck transmission, the dual mass flywheel was junk, pedal feel was garbage, would not shift past 7000rpm, spend a few thousand on the trans replacing clutch, flywheel, shifter and trans fluid, shifted great after and pedal felt great but the noises remained finally traded it in for a luxury sedan.
A lot of people who don't know how to drive stick had a problem with that transmission. As for the class action lawsuit, if you need $12 that bad, I will give it to you.
