They were going 82+mph on surface street after they change car. Those two who picked him up wanted to have a crime record, too. That woman went on that chase, yikes! How stupid can they get? Endangering the public, must be an automatic 10 years without parole. But Los Angeles has lost its mojo, being run by Bass and Gascon, very dangerous city.
They didn’t get in as well, they were waiting in the white car and thought their buddy blocking the entrance for them @35:50 would let them get away clean, but the cop blew past the blocking car and the helicopter clearly saw his fat ass swap too slow
There were 2 cars being chased. The white one and the other car in front that crashed near the gas station. Nobody's talking about the car that crashed and the person or persons who ran. The cops were following the 1st car that crashed but I saw the white one make a left turn also being followed by the cops. I guess ch 4 wasn't paying attention.
I saw that on channel 5 so there was 3 cars a black car drove around all them cops and Tried to block them from chasing white car then made a right turn after 2 cops chased him and crashed right away and took off running ..
As an long time LA resident, I have to say that the ones in Arkansas, Georgia, and Florida are far superior to ours, but hey....welcome to our LA shenanigans! 😁
Driving 7.8/10 Wanted Level: 5 Plan: 10/10 for the car switch it was funny, but then the lexus has its front tires blow up, 2/10. Charges: Yes Time of the chase: Really long and longer than expected. Camera man: 8/10, mostly followed the car, lost it for like 5 minutes, though. No one harmed: 👍 Speed Limit broken: Only in certain areas. Chase rating as a whole: 8.4/10 definitely had my attention, also 60k+ viewers at some point. Spike Strips: 0/10 he was either driving too slow to not notice it or they just threw it and hoped he drove over it, his tires popped due to brakes being on fire. Alright, that's all I have to say, I also do not condone this driving or stealing of vehicles, I just wanted to tune in.
@35:50 he turns into the Walgreens parking lot to swap cars and his buddy tries to block the entrance to kill the pursuit. Instead all three people in the white car get arrested. I wonder if the friend blocking the entrance got busted too
So they get ahead of him to fail spike strips but cant ram him? This has to be the slowest police chase ever why the f arent theymoving in to stop it sooner ?
California car chases are so pathetic. Lots of wasted gas 26 vehicles following the var for 2 hours until he gets a flat. Other states would have did the pit maneuver in 5 minutes and had them in Jail before this one ended.
The best footage of this chase👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. All the unnecessary guessing and incessant talking just kills the video! Nobody knows what a person is thinking when they do anything so all that bantering back and forth is tasteless and annoying. Thank you for allowing the viewers to watch and see for themselves without the stress inducing fodder back and forth💯✅💙😊❤
I can't believe LAPD endangered so many lives by not putting it to an end at 36:00 when there were so many of them. They let the suspect change cars SMH
@@davidhan9979 He probably called some friends to tell them to meet him somewhere and they all thought they could fool police and the helicopters, but clearly they did not.
Bro I was just coming from church and that freaking car was going so fast it crashed to car that was in the back of us and were this close of getting crashed😭😭
Half a million dollars of taxpayer money to stop a speeding CA car three or four times a DAY. While there’s a lot of people living in the streets. It takes a 100 officers, cruisers, choppers and, unimaginable amounts of man-hours to do it. Only in America.
They do but not all last long enough to have a full on chopper chase they either get away beforehand or give up beforehand but you’ll be surprised how many happen on a weekly basis in LA
In the NBC version, they follow the (unrelated) black car chase at 1:12:00 thinking it's the same chase, then declare it's over when it ends in a crash and police arrest the victim.
@@joshuaaguilera6864 The two cars drive side by side and pass each other on the KCAL version. Maybe he has a dedicated team of friends who jump into chases at a moment's notice. The NBC version also catches another chase blocks away after the white car chase ends.
I’m confused. I saw another vid of this with a car swap and it looked as though the car crashed into another one at a gas station and people ran out with cops chasing them on foot. Was that the other car who helped right before the switch?
They always pick one of those streets with no left turn lanes and 150 traffic lights that aren’t synced to rush up at 80mph. On a pointless side note, it still kills me how many intersections Compton has their ancient illuminated street signs on that have been burnt out for over 15 years. PLEASE. It looks so bad at night…
