Men come with multiple ex's or a bone yard worth of skeletons, and not to mention lots of accidental children. Protection usually comes in the form of an over inflated ego which is flexed unnecessarily towards his partner to belittle her so he can feel superior. His lack of emotions create an even bigger barrier in his relationship with a woman who feels deeper than men could ever imagine. While also considering he was fatherless, therefore his sense of "manhood" is based on the amount of women he's slept with, the car he drives which he cannot afford, and his career as a Sound Cloud rapper. Men want you to be their mother, therapist, chef, dry cleaners, porn star, cheer leader, trophy, financial institution, and pillow all while feeling as though you are "THEIR" burden. For a woman to ask for a man who doesn't have an orphanage worth of children, no baby mama drama, college educated, STRAIGHT, emotionally available, and a CAREER is somehow equivalent to asking to go skiing on Jupiter's 9th moon on the 6th Friday in February. Women don't want to raise their spouse, but would rather have an equal...not a playmate.

Did Adam FIND Eve? Did Boaz FIND Ruth? Did Isaac FIND Rebecca? No on all three. There were simply operating in their purpose and God brought the wife to them in their path. Many women use this (he who finds a wife) to justify them not positioning themselves or taking any responsibility in the courting process, which is unbiblical. A man can also find a $20.00 bill walking down the street (which would be a GOOD thing). However, he didnt specifically set out that morning to find money. He was simply walking on the right pathway and came across it. Same way with a wife. That's what the scripture really means. Not searching and hunting down a wife but simply finding her as he walks across his God ordained path.
