Historic track, historic cars what's not to like. I love seeing the difference between each era really showcases how amazing drivers had to be handle.

rather would not have the commentators. they seem to get all excited by the wealthy owners instead of the actual track action

I would honestly rather see current F1 drivers racing these death machines than trying to race the modern building sized F1 cars down Monaco. Be much more interesting

They are not 'death machines'. Please refrain from introducing silly 21st century Western softness into a sport that once had great MEN such as Sir Stirling Moss and Sir Jack Brabham

@@david-joeklotz9558well anything from before 1981 (which introduced the safety cell), is effectively a death trap. But most of the cars from the past, if raced today, would be dramatically safer to race now due to the fact that much of the safety improvements F1 has introduced over time relate to the physical track and procedures, not the actual car… examples being safety car, techpro barriers and run off areas, medical team and facilities at tracks with procedures for transporting injured drivers, even things like wheel tethers. as well as in driver worn things like HANS and fire suits.
