You guys know he stutters in French too? It's just how he is. He has a lot to say and he's incredibly shy so it's just his personality. He's been stuttering in interviews since he was young.
4:40 the way Thomas cautiously (😉) says “cautious?” is soooo cute!!! His English was excellent at this time and has only gotten better. They are both so intelligent and eloquent, I love the way they approach it all. ❤️
@@umjammereddy Sorry, “infantilize?” I just said that how he said something was cute. Being cute or saying something in a cute nature doesn’t have an age limit...💀 I’m pretty sure I also clearly said that they’re both intelligent and eloquent which are both qualities people usually showcase in later ages. And if you’re referring to how I said that his English was excellent, I was applauding his linguist skills because learning a second language IS an admirable skill, let alone to be able to communicate so articulately in said second language. How about YOU stop trying to disqualify people from admiring and appreciating the work and minds of terrific men because something triggers a red flag in your own agenda? Stop being offended by a compliment they, or any other normal person, would appreciate. I respect and admire them just as much as you or anyone else who listened to the entire video might. Shut the hell up and just let an innocent comment be innocent, and go visit a fucking therapist while you’re at it. If you see a problem with what I said, I can only assume you have deep seeded issues that I hope you can find peace with one day.
@@umjammereddy ??? And? What, does his stutter bother YOU in some way? Does it make it difficult for YOU to understand what he’s saying? Are you saying you think people who stutter are unintelligent? Just because he stutters in this one interview in particular, it absolutely doesn’t change the fact that what he communicates is immensely valuable and thoughtful, to me anyway. I respect him, I don’t give a shit if he has a stutter. I simply care about what he has to say, because he is an intelligent man and very passionate about his art. I understood every word he said. Speech impediments have nothing to do with linguistic skills. If you listen to any other interview, you can barely hear him stutter; but if you had seen my comment on any of those other interviews, you would still be triggered if you saw the word “cute.” Get over yourself. It’s pathetic.
@@umjammereddy if thomas knew Spanish, he could stutter in spanish and Spanish ppl would be able to understand him just fine LOL hes just smart in his essence + the way he articulates his thoughts. stutters dont get in the way of showing that
Merci/Gracias/Arrigato/Thanks! Even though they had their helmets, they didn’t want to just be sitting there being filmed in them. So we had to come up with something :)
they are not musicians. they are more than that. this interview proves it. there is a lot of things that really caught my attention, such as the progress of technology and how many tools are available for music making. any aspiring music composer or producer nowadays will very tempted to approach very different genres and techniques to their music. this is good but it's also really bad as you get stuck, sometimes, between genres and in many diversified approaches of music such as sampling ...
Well he probably stutters because he has two different languages to think of since his main language is French he needs to think of English for this. But It doesn't bother me 😋
He stutters in French too but yes, he stutters in English much more because it's not his first language. But I think it's actually adorable and really inspirational that his stutter doesn't bother him and isn't disturbing him from doing music, doing what he wants.
Guy-Manuel and Thomas are amazing. They surprised me with their command of the English language. Their music is incredible. We're up all night to get funky..... WITH DAFT PUNK!
It's nerves. They are shy, and don't like interviews. I know my Spanish is a lot better talking with friends at a get together here in Dallas, than it is, say, when I'm in a cheap hotel in Mexico and I'm trying to tell reception that the shower has no hot water...
