Full day of eating ketovore dairy free and day in the life vlog. Featuring a pork rib recipe with a dry rub.
This month I am eating no dairy meat based keto. This is to help me get a better idea of how dairy is affecting me. Eating a low carb high protein high fat diet helps with my hashimoto's symptoms as well. As usual this is not meant to persuade anyone to eat the way I do but to share my journey to overall wellness.

We live in Florida and have noticed an interesting phenomenon when a hurricane is coming. After the grocery store has been drained of nearly everything, the vegan section mysteriously remains stocked. 🤔

Neisha, unlike most actual meal replacement powders (Soylent, Huel, Ample, Ketochow, etc.) Protein powders are meant to be consumed soon after mixing. The act of putting water in them affects the amino acids and even if refrigerated they should be taken within few hours, not days. Just a friendly tip, tons of information on the subject to research if interested

To train Loki, to stay off the table, do the following: Take a piece of paper put double-sided sticky tape all over one side of the paper, make as many of these sticky papers as needed, place as many of them as you think is needed. She'll jump up, get attached to the paper, and not like it. So keep putting sticky paper on surfaces until she gets that it sucks to jump on areas that are off limits. Hope this is helpful.

Also re Loki, just an FYI that a female cat's head size is usually noticeably smaller than a male's, even when they are young. So I knew, for instance, that Loki was female before you told me she was. I had not seen her before this video, but would have been surprised to hear she was male, if I had.

Thank you so much for the rib recipe idea! I made it last night- bought the exact same cuts from Walmart, made your rub, and popped them in our smoker at 250 for 90 minutes. So quick and easy and they were SO delicious!!

After the rubbed pork cooks on low heat in aluminium foil for 2 hours, remove from the oven, uncover and douse in suga,r free bbq sauce and finish cooking uncovered for another 30 minutes 350F. It's ok to be a little pink but ideally, 140F bc of trich.

I remember the first time I was introduced to barely cooked meat. I trusted my old friend since he was still alive and that’s how he always ate lol. We had lamb chops. Wow. My eating ways changed since then

Might have more harmful bacteria especially pork and chicken. Best to cook till well done. Unless your pork is super fresh. Lamb and beef are fine being pink.

I’m getting a cast iron Dutch oven! So excited! Sear meats stovetop then add liquid and cover, braise in the oven for hours! Comes out so tender 😋

I have one and they work great!! I cook my chuck roast in it and have now starting cooking pork butt roast in my cast iron Dutch oven😃 You will love it!

@@angelagrant2943 I actually buy it at Whole Foods. Their pork products are cheaper than the beef options. But I do try to purchase the majority of my meat products from Whole Foods. I try to buy organic when possible.😃

Great video Neisha. Watching you with precious Beckett just warms your heart. Takes me back to when I was young with my kids & was thin though I believed in & followed the faulty food pyramid. Now on the sunny side of 70 & eating real food without starch mecha am seeking healing and good health and lose the weight I put on the past 20 yrs. Am not ready to totally give up dairy yet but aside from that am mostly carnivore the past 2 months. Am feeling better & inflammation ik my joints is down; we'll see if I can improve my weight loss.

Yeah I’m a retired butcher. And I can tell that those country ribs are from the first five ribs of the pork loin to me that’s a bonus. I can’t find those anymore nobody cuts their own pork loins anymore and I think the warehouse is use it for ground pork. What they sell by me in Southern California is country ribs that come from the pork butt which is fine I love a pork butt but they don’t have the same short texture as a loin. So you got a good batch there!!

LOL, we had a beautiful gray/white/pinkish kitty that showed up at our door one day and we took her in. We thought she was a boy and named her Felix. When I took her to the vet, the doctor loved all up on her and said she was a girl, that we can tell by her coloring. We kept the name Felix, but I called her "Fe" and "Fefe". She was the sweetest, cuddliest, most regal girl we've ever had. She was my cuddle bug for 11 years and I miss that baby every day

I took in a small grey tabby barn cat. My daughter named her Sterling Silver. That way the name would be fine for a boy or girl. She is a little girl after all. Loved this video. These kind of ribs are delicious.

Yep you are right about the pork at Wally Mart - the last batch of pork chops I had to throw away because they smelled so bad when cooking that I couldn't eat them. Tasted ok but couldn't get around the intense odor. Gonna give the ribs a shot. Thanks for the cooking instructions.

If Gwyneth Paltrow can name her daughter Apple, we can name our fur babies anything we want! My daughter has a black female kitty named Greg😂 it’s all good! She is in the hospital right now with a feather stuck in her intestines, so I think emergency surgery is required. Hopefully lots of prayers are sent for a full recovery. Love your content. I love country ribs. I cook them in my gourmet cooker. The rub sounds awesome. We had a neighbor who adopted a cat. Thinking she was a girl, they named her Alice. Well, Alice turned out to be Alex. They continued calling him Alice. He was the best mouser in the neighborhood.

Love your kittens name. My 8 year old daughters named their Basset hound puppy Dexter. And they knew she was a girl. So then they added Rose to the name. Her name was Dexter Rose. That was almost 30 years ago. We all still laugh about it. The name made all that met her smile. Of course Bassets in general make people laugh. It is like living with a cartoon character.

Glad you really follow thru and think about the crappy options. Yeah NO we dont want seed oil or gluten & chemicals from the stuffing in the chicken and the chemical seasoning etc. Fast food is the worst quality.

When we got our second cat, Tiger, we didn’t know that he was a he and we called him a her. Well our vet confirmed yes he was a boy. We named him Tiger before we knew if he was a boy or girl. But he has many names. We sometimes call him Tiggy or Tiggum. Also sometimes I call him Boo boo.

Beckett is getting so big and is absolutely adorable! Now for the product comment LOL I tried the chicken skin and the brisket flavors of the carnivore crisp and they taste like crap, like, horrible! (I make my own chicken skin with a few seasonings and crisp them up in the oven and they are delish!) But since carnivore crisps are not crap ingredients I'm giving to my dog as treats, as they literally look and smell like dog food anyway. I tried contacting the company to return but they never answered me back.

How long and what temp? Will keep the house cooler with the air fryer. :)

@@deannfisher8430 They were thawed and we cooked them at 400 for 20 minutes and checked the temp and they were at 140 degrees. We flipped them over halfway through cooking them. We have the same air-fry that Neisha has.

Those bone in ribs are great, so flavorful! Loki looks like she has both grey and tan in her fur. Like a calico, that is almost always a female. She's so cute!
