I'm so impressed with all the great yard sales in your area! And great people! So cute always seeing the kids selling cookies and lemonade. and fun seeing them trading and selling cards! Really enjoy your videos!
Your family is amazing. Kudos to you and your wife for raising two great kids. You won the challenge, apologies to the wife but the native sterling piece is amazing! ✌️
finally a youtuber I can follow, love the kind of stuff you get. Im disabled and now cannot go to all the flea markets and sales like I used too. Plus the bad winter is keeping me homebound. You also seem like a nice guy, enjoyable to watch you get all these goodies. signed, Having to live vicariously, MS
Your two ladies won (cool spoon pin) but I liked your butterfly too. I'm interested to see all that Star Wars staff you found. The stencils are awesome! Great long video for a Sunday morning watch. Have a beautiful weekend!
The girls got very nice Rhinestone pieces, but Nolan Miller brings a pretty good buck too! Hard to call! You gotta be tired cuz you were wearing me out watching all the fast walking! Great day! TFS
Found you through Paper and Moose, I absolutely love how Rene gets excited and just beams with excitement! I was cringing. As you walked by the mason jars at that one house because we do not have garbage days like y’all do nor do we have the great yard sales. Live in a farming community so maybe people don’t have time? I am at the flea market selling as many Sundays as I can and it’s interesting to see what is popular there compared to here in South Texas.
This SO reminds of when we went to Yard Sales with our daughters. We gave them a dollar and let them buy whatever they wanted. Amazing what gigantic stuffed animals you can get for 50 cents!
Great video -- I feel like I walked a couple of miles of yard sales with you! Love the mixing bowl and I think the girls won the jewelry challenge altho you did pretty well too. The frosting on the cake was the strawberry/rhubarb pie. Just yesterday I picked up a big load of strawberries and rhubarb, and now I now what I have to do today! : )
Love going with you garage saling! I went to an Estate Sale and I actually found myself in the jewelry! So, no I am not into jewelry, but I did pick up a pc that has W Germany stamped on the back.. now it has been some time since Germany had a west right? Anyway I picked it up for you, just in case, but I swear it seems cheap to me. So I had to swaggle for it!! In order for me to get this one pin,, not even a pin, but some kind of brooch thingy, I had to get another pin to go with it! She drove a hard bargain with me, and I have to say she came out the victor, cause I had to take away two pieces of jewelry and she got a dime!!!!!! I tell you what, here in Arizona the sellers are hard core!!!! So hopefully you have a fan PO Box so I can send this to you. Its most likely nothing, but to prove what a great job you do with your videos, this shows you that you are making a difference!
HONESTLY this was one of your BEST VIDEOS !! I FEEL LIKE I AM THER WITH YOU TREASURE HUNTING !! YOU GOT A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING!! ✌ I GUESS DARWIN IS ALL TIRED OUT.
I love that portrait. He looks like my great grandfather. I think, I would have bought the Pogo stick. They are rare. I saw so many items,as you were walking, I would like to have. Everytime, I watch these videos, I become more frugal and more careful about discarding. I have made too many mistakes, quickly getting rid of very nice and valuable items. I like the neighborhood sales. and church sales.
Wow I really enjoy watching your yard sale videos. I feel like I am the one shopping. You have a very nice personality. It's nice to see there are good father's out there. 👍
The girls win, but not realy a surprise for me :). a good challenge would be now, the girls pick one out his pile and you pick one out your pile and put it on your ebay, and we can a bid on it, and who make the biggest win is the winner :).
That little girl just at her own table selling Pokemon cards are adorable. My kids collect Dragon Ball cards here in Japan, and I take them hunting at least twice a month, and they have great eyes for stuff and know what to sell... unfortunately yard sales don't exist in Tokyo since there are no yards :(
@ 52:03 Freaking hilarious! After watching this intently for nearly an hour.. I rewatched this part more times than I'd like to admit. 🤣🤣 🐾 "Oh Sheet! Box."
Just subscribed love love your channel got my kids watching too so they can learn how to pick great things up and make some money out of everything 👍🏼 love how your showing your kids as well great channel all the best from London UK
Little girl starts to tell story "I saw the new pikachu movie and I also lost my tooth..." ..gets cut straight off ,yeah yeah whatever ,is that a blastoise 🤣
You didn't even look over the pottery vases. Looked like Weller or Roseville I also see you bypass vintage electric and oil lamps/lighting which I have made a ton of money on.
tip if you want ignore if you think I'm overstepping....Steampunk...anything with gears, clocks or clock parts, lace, leather, dirigible ..sells hot cosplayers love to make it themselves so does not need to be complete just bag up parts sell as cosplay steampunk kits...
Actually when sailing the cost I pay for doll furniture second hand or not is painfully expensive it’s a good find if their asking cheap to go cause they will sell high at least in Canada it’s crazy what we pay for doll house excessories
Neat Neighborhood! ... the one where you got the Garfield books. I love the East Coast. I'm in California but have two sons that live in Connecticut. Both are Liberal states and I'm not Liberal. The weather here beats the East Coast but the politics stink.
Can someone honestly explain to me why no one ever prices their items? If I go to a yard sale, flea market, etc and items aren't priced, I keep walking. I shouldn't have to ask.
Seemed like the little girl was stingy with the lemon aide, BUT then I realized that she filled the cups right to the level adults always give her! LOLOLOLOLOL
Thats because Unlike most Parents he makes them Go. Lol Most Parents would ask their kids if they want to go Yard Saleing. Dave dont ask them, he tells them they are going. 👊 Just like I do. Get those lil hermits out the house lol
That’s what I did… they had to go as it was my business and they got all kinds of stuff. They just didn’t like getting up so early. My oldest daughter takes her boys now…
Hi, just chiming in really quick to ask if that sale is still on? If so: the house where you complimented the lady on her beautiful garden, you may want to go back and see if she has to see one item. She had brass candlesticks with white glass lilies interwoven on them, I believe they are a church piece. I bought the exact same ones last summer at a flea market for 40$ and sold them on ebay for $200. So if you get a chance, that may something you want to look into. An hour of yard sale footage, my husband and I are pickers and were so happy to see this video!! thanks and by the way did you ever get the yellow Sony discman in the package from that church sale?
Thank you for taking me along yard shopping! Amazing the things you find. Now you are unloading the truck and I'm ready for a nap! See you all on the next video!
It took me 48 minutes into the video exactly to realize this is a little longer than 20 minutes 😂 I didn’t even realize the video is over an hour but I still love it thank you!
When I heard the name Nolan Miller I thought, “Bingo!” He was the noted costume designer for all of the outfits worn by Linda Evans on the original tv series, Dynasty. In addition to the weekly costumes, he also designed jewelry for the show. The series ended, but Nolan Miller went on to to design for clients such as Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Wood, Jaclyn Smith, Sophia Loren, Lucille Ball, Loretta Young, Eva Gabor, Joan Crawford, etc. He became famous as the couture in Beverly Hills. He also designed a line of jewelry for the famous American chain store-QVC.
Nolan Miller has very good resale value. He started designing in Hollywood for "old Hollywood Stars - both worn as movie costume and for the stars personal wear. He was later found in high-end Neiman Marcus type department stores. After the success of Joan Rivers, he did a QVC line and even it has a surprisingly good resale value. He died in 2012.
That blastoise, if it has barely any damage on front and back, no bends scratches or anything. It's actually worth between 20-40 US $. Older pokemon cards have some value!
Tough call for the brooch/pin contest. Think the Nolan Miller brooch swings it your way. Some nice houses to look at and you met some nice people. Thanks for the video. Regards from Australia.
Love your vlog . You are such a polite man and you know your stuff. I am from England and I’ve only been with your show for a few weeks but it is a must watch with me. I have quite a few pins which is my favourite jewellery. I hope you can understand what I’m saying lol .🏴👍😊
Thanks for the tour and finds! Your pin challenge! Gabby and Lindsey won Took home the Gold! Lol! I can’t believe you passed up that Atari system bucks! Like NES Nintendo! Super Nintendo! Love the vids!✌🏻
making me want to go g-saling myself. im old now and its too much for me now , but me & my mom went every thurs & fri. lots of great memories of her, and yours will have great memories of you.....all their lives. and they'll be telling their kids about you.great job DAD ! your a good man. btw, they totaly kicked your butt. lol
Good redirection of the son, there. No pogo stick, but did you see the pokemon cards? LOL Great parenting, Dave!!>>>>I think Gabby got the best jewelry finds today, but WOW you got a bunch of good pickins!!
Boy the jewelry contest is a close one. You really scored on those Nolan Miller Brooches and your sterling finds but the girls scored gold earrings, sterling, a shell cameo locket, and colored rhinestones so I think they just edged you out. Sorry Dave! I wish I could have gotten a closer look at the colored rhinestone pins especially the backs. They could be Juliana and that would definitely up the resale value. And my favorite was the oversized MCM vase for FREE! This was a really fun video to watch. Thank you. :)
I love your videos. You find some really good things for great prices. Australia is so expensive. I admire your parenting too. Awesome work distracting Darwin from the pogo stick 👍 Both your children are lovely. Keep up the videos, I get my shopping fix through watching these, saving me a lot of money lol.
I think those wooden trays are from an old desk. Goes into the shallow drawer to organize pens, etc. Might be 1920s or older, probably desk is long gone.
