Hi, yes, it is oil pressure switch.

Do the 16v and the 8v have the same engineblock and crank?

I do not know that. I need to find out. Looks like 8v engine blocks keep cracking where 16v never had this problem. I was thinking to buy a 16v engine block but I am not 100% sure it will fit.

What's the torque specs for the piston rod caps in nm?

Stage1: 10Nm Stage2: Loosen 180° Stage3: 10Nm Stage4 130°

What was the reason you rebuilt it? Broken/cracked cylinder sleeve?

Yes ;-) Cracked cylinder bore. Driving to long with headgasket issue or faulty injector.

Replaced engine block as had one spare with big end bearing issue ;-) @shakemum
