This is a top to bottom drive shaft overhaul with replacement of all parts, Slip Yoke Replacement, U Joint replacement, & (the scary) Center Support/ Carrier Bearing replacement for the 2 piece drive shaft. I didn't take it to a drive shaft shop to get rebalanced. That may come later. I didn't have and vibration issues with this shaft when it was pulled.
Doesn't matter if you have a (1) piece drive shaft or a (2) piece. The process is the same minus a couple steps I took and minus 1 U joint. Feel free to skip through to get the information you need. All aspects of the process is covered here. I had a 1 piece shaft installed and i made drive line angles to accomidte it. Problem is after that I lowered the truck 2 more inches in the rear which through off the geometry again. So for now I am just putting the 2 piece back in while Im doing all these othe mods I have lined up. Ill get back to the 1 piece later on to do more experimenting.
