Thank you so much for this epic video. This is probably the only way I will ever see some places in our Magical Kenya especially in Northern Kenya. But hopefully I can visit in person some day. I climbed Mt. Kenya years ago (actually did a 3 week circuit around the mountain) and one thing I would advise anyone planning this kind of adventure is to do some research before they embark on any activity involving elevation, even for a short day hike like Lake Ellis. I have seen healthy people get seriously ill from improper dressing, lack of acclimatization and altitude. Its not just about warm clothing but layering of clothing items, also having good broken-in hiking boots that wont cause blisters and as you mentioned, starting early so you can walk slowly for acclimatization and a better hiking experience. Just wanted to share that. Thank you so much once again.
