Art, the one in the video I use is from Baitjunkys but is no longer in production as I said... Even Brian Cash doesn't at the moment make the one I mentioned. He owns Aquatek Baits if that will be of use. MAYBE he will start again, but it's up to him of course. I recall someone else making them in the last several months but for the life of me cannot recall a name... Perhaps if you ask on the Soft Plastic Bait Makers Supply FFB page you can get more info
Steve Parker.. Those are called Sprue Extenders... As the 300+ Degree plastic cools in the mold, it will naturally pull away and down into the mold. The brass extenders will let you put in MORE as it does draw down or just slow that process because you essentially overfill the mold. You're trying to avoid things like dents, air bubbles, or other defects in the finished baits.
