Musk constantly puts this guy in his place and his simplicity in answering questions honestly is brilliant.

It's honestly admirable how Elon managed to be so patient with someone who tried to put him in a bad light for 57 minutes straight and refused to talk about anything that Elon was interested in talking about.

This was such an important moment. Exposed the BBC as the utter propagandist sham corporation that it is, further illustrated Elon’s integrity and emphasized the IMPORTANCE of transparency which often needs to be ensured by the CITIZENS rather than the “news” sources they would tell us we need to trust.

This is a perfect example of an interviewer on the attack the whole way through. Every single question by the interviewer was negative and Elon turned every question into a positive answer. This is one of my favorite interviews ever. Elon was so honest and he said yes when the answer was yes. No when the answer was no. He didn’t dance around anything or try to hide anything, even if it reflected poorly on him. The BBC reporter was constantly trying to trap Elon and if he got an answer he didn’t like, he moved on. This should be the end of his career.

Was never the biggest fan of Elon, but after watching this I have a whole new respect for the guy.

Aside from his obvious wealth and intelligence, I am intrigued and impressed that Elon Musk really SEEMS to value truth & freedom of speech equally (because they go hand in hand) - that he pursues it unapologetically - that he respects the law - that he has a true heart for humanity - that he laughs easily. Can't say I liked Musk previously, but he actually comes across as honest, and his views on misinformation were well considered and demonstrated a better grasp of democracy than the vast majority of politicians and journalists. The journalist, in turn, proved the point that their profession are typically not well informed while peddling a particular prejudice.

It’s a bit cringe watching the journalist, who is clearly obsessed about the sacking of Twitter employees and also is trying to take a higher moral ground.

As known from other interviews, there wouldn't be reusable rockets if Elon was negative and had given up. Neither would there be electric cars. There is a silver lining to this: He was so clueless, had so little to say and spent so much time rapid-firing questions that we ended up hearing Elon clarify all sorts of issues regarding Twitter and the direction and aspirations he has for it. So in the end the interview was successful for us!

From what I know I really like this guy. With his money he could be easily a really selfish evil guy but I see someone who actually cares about fairness and the overall good for humanity. He also has a sense of humor which can lack with people of money/power positions. Well done

I don’t think interviewers are used to straight up answers. They’re usually use to runarounds, long-winded, excuses, so when Elon bluntly answers yes or no… there is a long pause and a “hmm” reaction, as in “I wasn’t expecting him to just admit (whatever the thing was) just like that…” it’s quite entertaining. I appreciate his honesty.
