This man, after witnessing the birth of his stillborn son, left his wife to deal with her grief alone in the hospital room for 15 minutes. He then came back in the room and argued with her until he left. Mind you, she has preclampsia- a condition that can and has claimed women's lives. It causes blurred vision, swelling, arrhythmia, high blood pressure, nausea, fluid retention, pain, fever, and shortness of breath in it's most lenient form. Many men don't know this, but labor is a process that brings a woman very close to death. You can literally be knocking at death's door with even the smallest complication. Preeclampsia is a big complication. Pair that with post delivery exhaustion, hormone rush, and grief and she literally could have died in that delivery room- but he's in there yelling and screaming at her in front of the doctors. Embarrassing her. Humiliating her. Meanwhile, she's lying in the bed wresting with her pain and grief-- taking that abuse from him. She is sent home from the hospital, still in recovery from birth--- which is a huge strain and trauma to the body. Instead of being a man and a husband, he spends the morning at the grocery store with his cousin then comes home and he flies off the handle because he's asked to clean a room and abandons his wife who is one day post partum. Post partum women need rest. They are still bleeding vaginally, they still have unhealed tears in the vagina and near the anus that burn when they use the bathroom, they still experience contractions, constipation, depression, swelling, engorgment and more. They should not be left alone. Yet this man threw a temper tantrum and abandons her. Then quits his job so they have no income to spite her. I'm still not seeing a man who cares but let's look further. Due to complications post partum - no doubt influenced by being left alone by her husband - she is sent back to the hospital with preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome symptoms. She could now be having problems clotting blood, liver issues, and high blood pressure. She is now at higher risk of stroke, depression, and seizure. This is now infinitely more life threatening. Where is her husband? Avoiding her calls and texts, ferrying around his cousins. He is not in the hospital supporting her. Still not seeing a man who cares or even gives the slightest damn about her. I'll try again. He does nothing to arrange the funeral of the son he claims he wanted so badly. He spends his time arguing over text with his hospitalized wife about a costly funeral. When the day comes to decide what to do with their son's remains, he doesn't even show up. He didn't even care enough to remember the date. Her best friend checks her out of the hospital and supports her at the funeral home. She cremated the child because she is afraid her husband will not even show up to the funeral. He finds out and starts to argue with her again. This man does not care about her. This man does not care about the child. She uses marital money to secure a new home for herself to divorce him. He cries because he feels it's unfair- when he has never been fair to her in their marriage. This man is not good for her. This man is not good for anything. I think he is a bitchmade man with excuse after excuse as to why he treats his wife worse than a beggar on the street. He runs away from his issues and is a spiteful, apathetic man. Other than using grief as an excuse, he never stated how he grappled with his feelings or that he cared. He moved on with his life, again placing others above his grieving wife. He attends his friend's funeral a few days later, but didn't even show up for his child he refused to see or touch. It is so low of you men in the comments to try and justify his behavior as if it is right. It was completely wrong what this man did and continues to do. It really reflects poorly that you would attempt to defend his behavior. Really must no care about women.

He should've been crying with her, not crying alone. While he was feeling, she was also feeling. He left her to deal with that by herself. They should have been dealing with that together.

He was absent during all the most important moments for them to be together. Despite having agreed with him for a burial, which would have been fair to all relatives and friends even those out of touch, or of state, she unilateraly instructed them to cremate. Andree, if you have an uncle dear to your heart, struck with stage 4 cancer and alone, and your heart is willing to go and help; is it fair for your partner to say, because he never came here, never gave us anything, leave him to die. You would certainly not appreciate the partner saying that. Now, because he is likely to talk to other girls while there, the question is why does he do that? I think that home is the wife, but 'a bit of vacation' becomes welcome in his mind. So I don't totally blame this man for everything, neither do I blame wife for everything; but I see major problems in the wife. No man likes to be bulldozed to the extent that the overbearing wife fails to respect an "inheritance fund" from his family. It's one thing to want to use it for bills and needs, but quite another to privately distribute it without agreeing with him on what the money is to be used. He respected her and loved her when he said 'here's our money.' But the woman is a bully and certainly not a pleasure to keep. Selfish because she wants to appreciate and associate with relatives who come bearing something valuable/tangible to her doorstep. Those from his end who have nothing, should be off the radar. What if some of them know of this chaos and don't like her? Of course she never thinks of that; neither will she agree. All things being said, I thought she was going to say she wants out! But hey, she wants to be 'put first.' First before the relatives he appreciates. Lastly, no grown wife will put the urn of ashes under her armpit, amid marital discord. It is both their child, must be buried so relatives from both sides can have access and have peace. She' a bully and she drives him out. This is what I call irreconcilable differences; she cannot change.

Unlike my husband I didn’t even have time to even cry get I had to get my kids too schools .... He was out drinking and partying while I step up and handle grown up business despite my lost.... Which while the day I was having the baby told me he was paying the bill that morning of......He lied about that but really I don’t have to explain nothing to nobody because I buried my child by myself..... From that day that I tried to talk to him (january) I never mention it again it's like talking to a wall I even tell him in a joking kind of way that he is colder than the fridge ...but it's true. So sorry for your pain sis. I believe that people have to learn and be open to seeking real counseling after loss. My wife and I lost our son 2yrs who and it was devastating. BUT we were truly able to cope by surrounding ourselves with people who knew our pain and were trained to support. Men AND women grieve. But when u break a bone and never go to the hospital, it’ll heal on its own but never the way it should. Community support prevented us from handling things the wrong way. Depression manifests itself in multiple ways. Self Awareness is so key. Praying he can recognize how that hurt you, sis! @cornisha keep pressing sis.
