I like the team of Linda and the team of Eagle Eye, Both Captain has able to control their emotion in times of pressure and bad situation. Unlike Francis Anne and Big Eye Both captain which I considered worst. You can't do bad mouthing to your people who work hard for you. The Big Eye is always far behind because I believed in good attitude could help lift up the spirit of a team and the Luck will come in your side. just my Opinion and thats the way i see it start from season 1.
Chompers doesnt really know what he's doing, thats why he's almost died twice from bad weather in a shitty boat, trying to coattail off of other boats success even though he hasnt put in the work necessary to be able to compete with them
You have to wonder why Chompers is always behind the 8 ball. Runs out of bait, food, fresh water all the time not to mention he never knows the right place to set gear. I hate seeing these guys fail.
It's an excuse he starts making up so he can rip off his crew and keep all the money for himself. That guy is not a captain he is a crook and I'm surprised not one of his crew members hasn't knocked him out since this show started.
The first season he put just as much weight of fish on the boat as the others. Then proceeded to turn around and pay his crew $800 for two months of work saying he couldn't make a profit. It's like yeah right buddy you're a thief and screwed them over, all while the other boats crew pulled in $5,000 minimum. He has the smallest boat and pulled in just as much as the other boats and still didn't make money, how does that make any sense.
Chompers makes his crew sit down lol not put a survival suit on bring the epirb inside.let the coast guard know your making a dangerous approach ect.this guy is a dangerous captain..i dont know how this boat has survived year after year
@@hossdude65 thats his boat hell end up sinking it and killing the entire crew ive lost lots of friends over the years to greed and bad choices out there and they were 10 times the fishermen chomps is.its only a matter of time.you cant keep rolling the dice like that.it will catch up to you eventually
Scotty has good work ethics and his attitude is always good never gets upset. Only time I noticed was when the Japanese vessel set over his line and tied the hook in a way to hurt someone..
8:11 they show Hudson Canyon as this little thing.. it actually runs all the way back to the Hudson River in NY and is comparable to the Grand Canyon in the us as far as depth and size. The last time it saw daylight was during the last ice age .
Hudson canyon can be a bonkers place. We could barely set lines during tuna season. And that was just sportfishermen just stacked on top of each other. The radio is filled with the sounds of cursing lol.
Just a quick question that has, no doubt, been asked before. What does swordfish taste like? Is it oily like Tuna or drier such as cod or hake? Does it melt in your mouth or is it firm like steak? Thanking you all in advance; stay safe.
I spent 2 decades on Hudson canyon the sweet spot is the corner of the west wall of the canyon everyone wants that ground the long liners lobstermen the draggers scallopers.tile fishermen sportys ect.it looks like ny city at night
