Another reason The Lox had the edge is because they have great chemistry, they are one of the only groups in Hip-Hop to never break up. Dipset has broken up countless times and when they perform it’s usually money involved. The Lox do that shit everyday and you can tell.

Dipsets sound was trashy at times because Kiss exposed Dipset for rapping over thier vocals instead of rapping over instrumentals and not knowing thier verses. Dipsets dj dropped the volume on a few songs so that mainly Cam could be heard more over the recording. It never works, its cheating and the fans deserve that work

Huge Dipset fan here, once I heard these guys didnt perform I didnt bother seeing the playback cuz I knew (as A Lox fan also) that L.O.X were gonna win...I remember when I first heard Hell Rell man ol man....I think Rell was in jail in this freestyle where he had told his sister or mother to be quiet on 3way and he went to the moon on a cold blooded ass freestyle😂😂, Im from New Orleans so when these guys came out alotta cats out here was acting like Dipset was the 2nd coming of the 'HotBoyz' we loved them niggas and the Lox down here salute tho
