Im rooting for Eva. I did hear McCall talk about how when he was a little boy his mom literally fought him like he was a grown man. That anger he has comes from somewhere, not saying he's not at fault, but damn to me thats how you raise a monster. Its hard to fix broken adults. I hope they both find all the peace in life❤
Eva deserves peace from Kevin, she's been through enough. But it's really sad to see so much trouble/trauma follow this man. Taking everyone out of the equation, he won't survive if he doesn't address the pain in his past. Kevin needs to show up for himself before he can be anything to anyone else, especially his daughter. I hope he gets the help he so clearly needs before it's too late.
This very brief interview really gave me an insight to Eva's intelligence and how well spoken she is. Despite the touchy topic, she still answered calmly and with poise. I love that. It's something we don't get to see on RHOA
Wow, that's messed up! When people are acting like that and a child is involved. I agree with her that it's best to protect that child. Children don't need unnecessary drama like that in their lives.
That is what my mom did. She is now divorced from my step-dad, and I no longer have any contact with him or his s family. It would be so strange if I had his last name... They wanted to change into his and i said I didn't want to have had 3 last names and she respected my decision as a child.
When you get married and take on a child from the union that child is now yours because you are now one. You love that child and have a bond with that child as blood, that love doesn't just go away if something happen in the relationship now I have a daughter that I did not birth and is my biological children sister and I love her as if I had give birth to her and I have not been with their father in 34 years. She is now 37. People need to think of that child and not of them selves. I love my daughter and I DO NOT CALL HER STEP.
S. Wright the name change is because Kevin is bipolar and he went on a rant years ago saying he was giving up his parental rights. Now he wants to change that. She looks just like him. The thing is, he can’t see either of his kids for the same reasons and Iyanla couldn’t even fix his life. He reunited with his Mom on Iyanla after destroying stuff at her home and then months later his Mom reported that he did it again

Let Eva's situation be a lesson for other women. It is so important for women to protect themselves and not be blinded by the fact of wanting a man that the man that comes along tyet just grab and be quick to start a family with. While society still holds some grips about having a family a woman ought to understand that her safety and mental peace is priority because some of these men aren't right and altogether and it really shows that it is just as important that care and guidance and love are given to a young boy just as a young girl that he will develop into an upstanding man. Dont just take care with the girls but the boys of tomorrow need that attention just the same because if no one shows them the way then a lot of them will be confused about life
This is such a great, compassionate and substantive show. A show that’s not about gossip but the ladies talks about real issues that people are facing. The show deserves more credit than it gets.
I agree with Eva I do also believe you shouldn’t change the name, if you already gave the name from birth, everyone has the right to know their paternal ancestry.
I remember when Eva was showing off on Lance Gross in an interview saying that Kevin was the only person she wanted the experience of having a child with. It has turned sour now.

Kevin( the violent, criminal thug) disowned his daughter his on social media.. He said; " she is dead to me and no longer my daughter). Plus, three women have restraining order against him. He is spem donor and not father. EVA has done right decision for her family

I understand how it’s the right thing to do to support her as a woman myself. But as a believer, I feel that this man is battling some demons and that he needs help. Keeping him while he is down isn’t going to make the situation any better . Is he right for the things that he has done ? No of course not. Should he suffer the consequences for his actions, yes be aids he should be held accountable as a man to be a man and a honest one at that . But a part of me feels like no one cares for his well being and his mental health , calling him crazy like as if it’s a cake walk isn’t any better . Mental health is a serious issue and I don’t see anyone , including Eva, trying to find some sort of help or guidance for this man . He is still your child’s father , and whether or not you don’t get along with him, your daughter still needs her father. He obviously loves his daughter. Now I don’t know if he is abusive to his children, because that would be a different situation. Anyways , I believe this man needs help and someone to support him and help him out . I do believe if that’s his daughter his last name should be included in the daughter’s name. If the last name was good when you had her the last name is still good now.

I agree with her decision as far as keeping her baby girl away and even changing her name so she won’t feel left out but I don’t appreciate her calling him “crazy” that is still the lil girls dad and she’ll probably see clips of her talking that way about him. Just say he’s dealing with his issues or demons or whatever
U lost me by saying Eva should watch how she talks about her daughter's father but don't have a problem with her changing her daughter's name to that of her husband..it's not ok for the mother to just changed the child's name because the father has issues.. that's his biological child irrespective of what he's done or going through.
I don't think this guy needs full custody and he needs to seek mental help, however, her giving his child another man last name was wrong, he already has a mental problem, this can cause him to snap.
Changing the name isn't where I see an issue but it's the fact that she has another man's name. She could have given the daughter her maiden name. If she gets a divorce the daughter now carries a name that has absolutely nothing to do with her or I guess she'll change it again.

I don't see what is so wrong with Loni asking Eva how she is doing. Yes she probably got this after what happened to Meghan but so what? Maybe she learned something about how important it is to take time out and ask someone how they are feeling. When I saw him on Iyanla fix my life and he talked to that guy the way he did I knew instantly this man was dangerous and that Eva is telling the truth about him. No I don't belive it's right to change your kids name just because your divorced and not on good terms with the baby's dad if he did not give up his rights, did not say don't give your child my name then I think let the kid grow and make the decision to change the name to the step father coz he would have earned it then and would mean more to the stepdad that the child thought him worthy to be called dad ...my 2 cts women we take on too much even when we don't have to we tend to.
