I would love to see a review of a full face of Laura Geller makeup, especially the baked and brighten foundation & other products within that line. I’m on the fence about buying it all, hoping it works as advertised. I’m also curious about that Jones Road cream stuff for all over the face, forgot what it’s called, but it’s everywhere on my feeds & claims it’s great for over 40 skin. 🤔 loved this review though, definitely gonna save my money when it comes to overrated IL Makiage! 😣
I feel like for the price point, one there should be better packing for shipping. Also it seems like it is more hype and advertising then actual good product. Thank you for reviewing ❤
Let’s not even get into their super deceiving ads where they have models wearing foundation on bumpy bareskin but they also add skin filter on the foundation to make the claim their foundation removes bumps and texture.
You read my mind! I swear last week I was curious to see if anyone has done a full face of IL Makiage after seeing the ads for their foundation but for some reason I saw that no one has. It was just foundation or primer reviews, so I’m excited to watch your video! I’ve always been curious about the other items they sell
There is a reason why people don’t review their stuff because it’s bad and Their ads are deceiving! Their ads where they show their foundation being applied has filter added on top to make the claim their foundation even removes bumps and texture which is not true. Also they delete all bad reviews or complaints.
I tried the foundation years ago and I didn’t like the color match or how it set on my skin either. Way overpriced and very lackluster. I’m glad I’m not the only one!
I use Laura Geller's Baked and Brighten powder foundation, which is made it Italy, like IL Makiage, I love how it looks flawless and covers great on my skin, it's similair to what you have there, but I love Laura Geller's products!!
I would love to see a review for Laura Geller’s baked and brighten line & Jones Road cream for over 40 skin… I know most are under 40 on here, but I need to know if these brands are worth the price & no one else is as honest with their reviews as Milabu is… 🧐
@@TabithaBarrettRN I’m over 60 and I bought the Jones Road cream. The color is beautiful but it is so sticky on my skin. My hair sticks to it, no matter how I apply it. Some people have compared it to colored Vaseline.
I hate the Laura Gellar line. I'm 53. Very powdery accentenuates flaky dry skin, very drying if you already have dry/menopausal skin. the blushes are to pigmented very orange or very mauve. Highlighter is highlighter. I do not do bronzers but I did get it to try its like mud on the face.
I presume il makiage isn’t doing so well with the baked products. I got the highlighter last month from boxy & that same blush, which miraculously came intact - boxy seems to enjoy shattering makeup- today. lol it was prettier than I expected, I think it’s great for mature skin but they don’t market it that way….
Yes, the package handler can be responsible for product damage but at the price of their products I would think they’d want it to arrive in pristine condition.
For those prices the make up shouldnt be that bad and the packaging should be waaay better. Ive purchased less expensive make up from Indie brands as well as high end make up that has better packaging for shipping than this.
The fact that they charge what they do for their products that are not really anything special, but cannot include any protective packaging in their shipping, says so much about the brand in itself. They are definitely not in it because they have a passion for their products or trying to have repeat customers.
I've only tried their foundation and their eyeliner. I don't like their foundation... It makes my face look so dry. But I loveeee their liquid eyeliner though. It's the best I've used so far.

Nice video thank you! Could you do a quick video or short of your hair style in this video? It is stunning! :)
I was too late in seeing your review and I fell for their “we got you in our grip ads” and nothing is in my color!! So n fortunately I become ill and missed the deadline to return the products and now I am stuck with junk! 😢 ugh! Do not fall for their ads saying they will get your perfunctory because they won’t!!
this brand is sooo overhyped and underwhelming… they spend their budget on their marketing (paying actors) instead of in their products… love the honest review!
Their ads are heavily edited you can see skin filter being added on top of their foundation when being applied. They also delete all negative comments!
