What?!?! I was kind of excited for this "ride" to come to Florida. Here I was thinking that it'd be a Test Track type of ride with newer technology and different theming. I feel stupid now. Of course Universal would just continue to rely on 3D computer generated "rides". It's all they do now. It was need when Spiderman and Transformers did it, but now it's like they're regressing. It's just a long screen that the ride vehicle moves past.
4:13 I know people are hating on this ride, but can we appreciate the fact that this is the best way to tell people not use cameras or phones to record?
@@ChecoWasHere Bot until Super Nintendo World, drop. Lol, can’t wait. Disney is going down, when Super Nintendo World, is going to be made. Literally Mario and the characters and hopefully Link, Pokémon and Kirby, will be there.
I think they should have created a ride were you go on a car and on the other side there are more people in a car and its a race, ehemmm LIKE TEST TRACK, CMON PLS NO MORE 3D SHITSSS
If the Orlando version has these same cinematics paired with some physical track/speed elements and animatronics (moving cars on set pieces, etc) I can be happy with it. Either way I'll enjoy it. I like simulators but they're so much better when paired with practical effects.
Film Studio! Orlando and Islands of Adventure has them. This one is just a waste of space. Also there is a water ride. Jurassic Park. You should know that by now.
Great job with the camera, I don't wanna go to the US just to watch this attraction, mate, so this video represents the closest point to being there. No, the video is not crappy, it is not shaky, it has HD quality and it is recorded with extremily care. So, I appreciate the effort and I thank you for uploading and sharing with all users worldwide. Amazing camera job, matey. Cheers!
I wanna go on that ride and I like Fast and Furious and I watched all the Fast and Furious TV shows and movie and when I go back their I wanna go that ride again and I want to get another car from Fast and Furious to add it to my collection and Fast and Furious is my favorite show and movie all hands down and I watched all the Fast and Furious and I want to get another car to add to my collection and I love cars so I want to get another car from Fast and Furious and I’ve seen all the Fast and Furious TV shows and Movies and I love cars from that show and I want to get another car when I go back their and I want to collect another car from Fast and Furious and I love to collect cars We don’t work for nobody Yeah don’t worry lucky for you our whole family will protect you Shaw traced us Hobbs can’t hold him forever Driver move that viechele This is our Turf Roman Letty hook ‘em up Way uh go Letty Don’t worry I got this Ride or Die
We took this tour over the weekend. The final section of Fast & Furious with the freeway car chase was PAINFULLY loud. The other two enclosed sections--King Kong, Subway station--were definitely loud, but nowhere near as loud as the car chase.
i've noticed that any video with negative comments towards this attraction will make universal take it down. sorry guys but people(especially fans of this movie franchise were expecting more. the 360 screen works for king kong..... but not like this.... ooh maybe make a fast and furious ride just like the transformer ride! with 3D effects and such!
Chaotix 182 They're in the middle of constructing Kong Island at islands of adventure next to universal so it may not be exclusive to Hollywood unless they're doing something different for King Kong.
Did this last March while visiting Hollywood for the first time. It was awesome! What the video doesn't do justice to... the fact that it was 360 degree 3D immersion, the blowing wind from fans, and the tram being on some sort of D-Box rig. It really gave you the sensation of movement and the jumps/dropoff were very exciting. I think there was some water & smoke effects too. Also, the people dancing, the actors, all 3D projected (or on glass?) was a really neat effect.
+Jamar Roby Yeah, but as a kid, (because I'm 9 :P) and I think it's kinda boring. And there's A LOT of inappropriate things in it. Ya know. But there cool I guess. Action-packed. I like action! 😂
I'd just like to say that for those that are skeptical about the ride being built it Orlando based on this video, I myself think this is pretty lackluster, I'd still reserve judgement until after the ride is built. Don't forget Universal Studios Orlando has a history of taking the concepts used in the Tram tour in Hollywood, and converting them into larger scale, stand-alone attractions. They did it with Jaws, Earthquake/Disaster, and King-Kong 360. I think that King-Kong 360 is the perfect example of how this will turn out, which is retaining elements from the one in Hollywood and amping it up for the one in Orlando. Who konws. Maybe it'll be great, or maybe it'll be crappy like this one.
Exactly what @ExotiCxWhiteKiD said this concept and the king kong concept is good for a TRAM TOUR because it makes sense and makes the tour more engaging and fun but for this shit to be a stand all "ride" is not. This is horrible and annoying and i felt the same in the king kong ride. When i heard they were building the King Kong ride i was thinking it would be something similar to their " Kongfertation" ride that they had years ago and was super excited in the thought of having a cool ride like that again but no Universal brings the shitty 360 screens and want you to think thats a ride? um no so if this is what they are going to do with F&F then im definitely not going to ride this along with many others that were disappointed in the kong ride and the idea of them making a F&F ride in the first place. Ill just save my money and go to Disney World instead where atleast the $115 ticket to magic kingdom would be more worth it then the $112 ticket Universal is making us pay to see 1 of their park for 1 day! and thats the Florida resident discount! I would say universal is more worth it if they would sell Florida Residence $76 tickets.
I was looking for a comment like this. Finally I see people who like the ride. The only problem for me is the smoke blasters because I have extremely sensitive ears so I have to cover my ears.
OMG this is the best thing ever at universal!!! I went on it 15 times and it just gets better and better each time! Especially when DOM DOM hangs on to the helo. Damn dawg it was tights. And how good is tyrese? damn dat dude my boy ya. I laughed so hard when he said especially you girl in the third row, OMG i lost it, especially on the tenth time through for some reason it just really got me there. LOL!!!! cant wait for at least 3 more F&F. YES!
why... just why... ANOTHER 3-D RIDE?? WHAT HAPPEND TO THE ORIGINAL UNIVERSAL I LOVE?? IDK IF 3-D RIDES IS CONSIDERED A THEME PARK BUT PLZ! NO MORE 3-D RIDES!!!
My mom really likes The Rock. This attraction on the Studio Tour rocks even though everyone imitates Vin Diesel, The Rock AKA Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans and Tyrese Gibson from The Fast & Furious movies by driving in a wacky fashion that results into becoming road kill. As Hermione Granger, I would think about saying in the ride segment, "Good heavens! Vin Diesel is driving differently than my boyfriend, Ron Weasley. 1 little problem, his car doesn't fly". Thumbs up if you agree and find my silent thought as Hope Feelgood's best friend interesting, too.
I assume the glasses they put on are for the 3D effect, and truthfully the people on the ride sound like they're having fun. I'm still super excited for this ride. I feel like it could have been made better, but I don't think it's bad.
The ride's gun when you're actually there. He didn't even catch a lot of the ride on camera (usually because his finger was covering some stuff) also you can't feel what he feels on the ride, you have to be there to experience it. Probably my favorite art of the tram.
We went for Christmas 2016 to Universal Studious. I videotape every our trip with steadycam. I filmed this "ride also" and deleted it when I edited my footage. I didn't want this stupidity on my home video.
+Tricko8000 I heard something about, that Paul Walker wasn't that happy about what the last movies turned about, he had enough about the crazy stunts, heists, and all that blue screen thing… his wish was to bring it back to the core = racing… like in the first movies… and that's why Furious 7 was FOR Paul, and Fast 8 will be BY Paul… :) So, I really hope they get it to bring that back in the 8th one, and kinda stop with the CRAZY stunts, and all that blue screen scenes etc...!
Emmy Gerard Well read again the part of my comment until ''...the first movies...'' So they're probably do that in Fast 8, and that's why Fast 8 will be BY Paul, because it was his wish... ;) Even Vin Diesel said that!
The whole experience personally is much better. The set up is amazing, feels like the tour is in real danger, unlike King Kong were they just straight up tell you on tour it was made by Peter Jackson and the tech used. The ride is really fun,(though I think animatronics on a set would've been funner) it feels like ur really speeding through the highway. But, I am dissapointed that the tech used is all just King Kong 360 all over again. Its better than the mummy crap they had before, but not better than King Kong 360. Thankfully, they opened Harry Potter and the Forbidden journey right after this disappointment. Harry Potter ride is AMAZING!!!! Animatronics, feels like ur flying, and ultra convincing screen effects.
I just hope with the space they have to build it they make it a good ride. It could be just like a test track ride with the area they have to build it enough of the 3-D shit have ride with real sets and outdoor scenery.
This ride is a copy of Disney's Star Tours with the whole "witness" part, Star Tours is a "Spy" and it is also like the Backlot tour, I expected this to be more of a thrill ride, like Test Track. Unfortunately I won't be going to Universal to ride it, I will stay in Disney World.
DatBoi Star Tours came out around the same time as King Kong but it was in development beforehand. EDIT: Back to the Future: the Ride opened after Star Tours did.
I been on this for my bday and I love fast and furious also the ride is awesome if u never have been to universal studios u should go there the one I went was the one at hollywood
Why is Universal calling this a "Ride"? Do they call the Flash Flood or the Collapsing Bridge "rides" now? I think it's pretty slimy of them for marketing this as a ride instead of just another stop on the tram tour.
+Cutehamster lover910 More movement than Earthquake? (the old) King Kong? Collapsing Bridge?? USH is just plain wrong calling it a ride when they know very well it's just another "tram stop". It's all just unethical marketing. They know they didn't have anything to compete with the nearby parks this summer so they called it a ride.
+Tommy Lamm Well not that much movement. I guess Universal just likes to make it easier for people to understand. I think it is kind of a ride, because your siting down with other people just like a ride. I really don't know. But Universal has their own mind, and we have ours. We're all different. So idk lol 😂
Just like the King Kong ride in universal and its still bad. We dont want anymore 3D "rides" or so they call them when they are just 3D shows that shake you around a bit, We want Universal to start making ACTUAL RIDES again
There is only one part I wanted to see and it's the best part of the whole ride.... Vin Diesel grabbing onto a helicopter saying, "DON'T WORRY I GOT THIS!" before flying off screen. I honestly was the only one laughing on the ride because it's so crazy and stupid.
because its a tram ride and works only on a tram ride. but for this to be a solo ride is going to be horrible. The Majority of us that are complaining about it are the same ones that rode the King Kong ride and we know that its going to be shit if they use this as our "ride"
Why is everyone saying this is bad? Legitimately this looks really intense! Even if it is 3d, if it is real enough, I think the experience is worth it.
A Fast and Furious ride should've been a fast-pace racing ride along the lines of California Adventure's Radiator Spring Racers where two cars are pit against each other in a race. Instead, it's a tram ride.
Here's my initial opinions about Fast & The Furious Supercharged and I'm gonna be both pro and anti about this, so here we go (BTW, I was gonna say Spoiler Alert, but.....whatever! LOL): First of all, Love the films, despised this attraction. Great characters, great actors, but it's like that they never put that much effort into this project. It's like they don't really care that if this ride's gonna last. It's like USH just wanted big $$$ after Furious 7 broke box-office records and make everything so fast and cheap for their kickass Studio Tour, in under a year or so. On the bright side, some visitors really like this attraction (even some Furious fans) and I respect their opinions and ideals. Also, do I really care about the pre-show being all sexual, too adult and junk? To the over-protective parents who argue about this pre-show, YOU PAID $90 FOR THIS! LOL. Plus, everyone, including myself could agree that there's No Paul Walker homage! And in the main ride show, to the ride producers, hear me out: water canons and fog isn't gonna help advance the 3D effect, unlike Captain EO at Disney Parks where the attraction only used the right effect in the right moment that is needed. The action is thrilling, but doesn't mixed in well with the animation and acting. In the end, I hope this attraction doesn't reached UO in my home state of FL. And I hope that Kong won't end up like Supercharged. But on the other hand, if people like it, then so be it. As long as I am concern, I hope USH could learn its lesson after seeing all the mixed reviews of Supercharged and instead make an attraction that doesn't rely on that much 3D screens and over-the-top acting. Except for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, in which the ride is more convincing and awesome than what anyone could imagine. To all of the ride's fans....like what you like, and don't let the haters ruined your trip to USH. After all, it's USH. We all like to Ride the Movies, don't we? And I'll end with this: Can I be the one who will say that the animated 3D sequence of LA makes Grand Theft Auto for the PS2 more realistic than this?! ;D
