Very carefully marketed - you’re making out like he fought jokers most of his career, he fought 16 current or former world champions and beat 11 of them … you don’t get many resumes like that from fighters these days … he deserves more respect .. he was a world champion at 22 and a unified world champion at 24 he also went on a solid world championship run at 140lb where he was at his best: beating the likes of Maidana, Kotelnik, Judah, Malignaggi etc. yeah he was also well marketed but that’s the job of his promoters and he was also a good self promoter … yeah he had vulnerability to his style of boxing and his chin but he also was a sensational fighter and pure box office entertainment his whole career win or lose and fought at the world or elite level for years - amazing career all the way from his successful amateur days wining Gold at Junior Olympics and then Silver at the Olympics at 17 years old and he became a teenage sensation he was a superstar in his younger days even won ESPN Prospect Of The Year in America and then Fight of The Year in America - he did that from his own performances not by being well marketed he deserves credit!
