I got to meet him last month, and talked with him for some time. He gave me a personalised signed photo and boxing glove, then he posed with me for a photo. He's such a nice guy.

Idk I hate the way weight classes are. Fully hydrated Linares looked 25lbs heavier than Lomo. That's why I like one championship, they fight at weight classes they normally walk around at. Makes it way more fair. Kudos to Lomo beating a guy way bigger, those angle changes are incredible

Linares usually displays a greater mastery of rhythm than even the Matrix. Hence the KD. But Loma's well rounded game and outstanding speed and quickness earned him the fight ending body hook. If you see the finishing sequence: Gouging body hook along the stomach and he's already counting on the left punch from Linares and raising his elbow but also turning to the left to load his own left punch. It misses but that's only cause linares is already falling

33:01 he gets him to raise his gloves and rips one the the body. He fakes a short straight to the face and linares reacts so he loops one up top, misses and then gives up half way into the lower shot as linares is dropping fast.

Well that was some shit right there. What a great fight. Loma was picking him apart most of the fight, but you could see the monentum shifting a bit. Loma started having less success and Linares started landing more meaningful shots, started to look like maybe he could turn it around, then Loma finishes. Fantastic stuff!

Talented fighters. Loma is a skilled boxer. Amazing speed. Linares has power punch too. I thought Loma will not survive up to 10 rounds. But amazing, he was able to KO Linares. I was surprise. Congrats to both fighters. Brilliant and skilled fighters. But somebody must win, and Loma did it. He has courage too. Anyway both of them are courageous, who do not give up easily. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you loose in sports. Just like in life outside of sports.

A mí me pareció que Linares podía haber aguantado aunque en el 10º ya estuvo recibiendo serio castigo antes del gancho, y no sé hasta qué punto la inflamación sobre todo del ojo izquierdo le mermó en su capacidad defensiva.
