Shakur uses proper technique. You’re going to get hit, it’s boxing. he just destroyed a gold medalist. It’s not about power in the Olympics, it’s about landed punches. The kid can box. Him and Haney are similar, but Shakur is pretty boy Floyd and Haney is money mayweather. Both should avoid tank because of his power combined with equal skill. Ryan Garcia has power if he catches you with a punch “you didn’t see”. No natural rhythm though, he will always be a journeyman.

One issue I see now that I haven’t seen before is Shakur is low key getting overconfident . Let’s not forget that he is not a pressure a fighter. But he is no walking down his opponents . That’s the reason he got hit a lot in this match. He gotta go back to usual shakur

Shakur definitely gets hit, and he got hit by a one dimensional fighter that he was able to beak down as the fight went on. Dude made no adjustments and made it easy for Shakur. Shakur was sitting on his punches every round and got that weakass knockdown. Him and Haney would be a boring fight to casuals. But I myself would love to see that fight. Tank beats both of em. He has the same amount of skill but he has what they both lack and that’s punching power and possibly a stronger chin.

Conceição lack of stamina and the fact that he didn't threw combinations made him so ineficient and predictable that Shakur got really comfortable and did his thing... Still i belive Shakur could've done much more, he had an opponent that he could've easily dominated in a much better fashion, he should have knocked him out. No hate but I'm not impressed at all.

I think Shakur is the most talented one out of the 135s. I love Haney but Stevenson's games looks more polished and mature at this stage. I don't think they should fight yet. Let Shakur clean out the cowards at 135 once Haney defeats Lomachenko and moves to 140.

Shakur could have easily outboard this kid & not get hit as much but he wanted to walk this kid down. Although I'm a Shakur fan had picked him to win I expected more out of Robson being he's a gold medalist who fought all over this world amateur & professionally he didn't look to win in my eyes after round 3 or 4 he looked as if he just wanted to survive. Shakur stevenson skill level is superior but i felt he could have did better in this fight . I say tht because its clear the guy he was fighting was not even a challenge for him. The man literally is slapping him with every punch BUT he lasted a full 12 rounds for a reason ... shakur cant blame it on the holding cuz if tht was the case you should have adjusted your strategy being tht you know what he is going to do ...... then BOOM shakur would have knocked him out

This wasn't a total dominance by Shakur as US commentators predictably favoring their fighter. In rd 6 Robson catches Shakur with a devastating combo that shook Shakur & Shakur tried finishing rd with a late flurry but even Shakur body language says he lost rd 6 after the bell. (Commentators only replay a Shakur punch instead of the hard Robson combo) There was a few controversial rds, even k.o was controversial a bit. But commentators don't see the Robson shots in rd 6 & still score it Shakur's way. Lol 😄 Commentators also putting all credence on human compu box numbers which I'm not a fan of as overall stats are incorrect. Not even human eye by watching camera (not even ringside) can catch every punch. Shakur won reasonably comfortably was at a different class level but with an elite big puncher it will be a different fight for him. Robson should have also scored a knockdown in rd 12 with good body shot that caused Shakur to lose balance not the other way round, even ref missed that. But Robson not at his best, was overall too nice on certain decisions & frustrated. Credit to Shakur has a nice variety & shown a good chin so far. Shame he didn't make weight. Time to get stripped & move up weight.

Shakur Stevenson is in my opinion the best boxer of this generation P4P. Even thow, he has not the most entertaining style to watch, he is still the most talented boxer out there. He is for sure the future of boxing and will be successful in the 135lbs division for sure. In my opinion he beats nearly anyone clearly. But a fight with Tank Davis and Loma could be very difficult!
