The Final in Sion will not be forgotten in a hurry. With Matis Neyroud knocked out in the Semi-Finals in front of his hometown crowd, there was an opportunity for a new eSC winner.
Anish Shetty and Aymard Vernay had again made it through and were hoping to improve on their respective third and fifth place finishes in London, while Nicci Daly, Sara Cabrini and Marc Luna filled the remaining places on the starting grid.
