Not usually a fan of neon lighting in tanks, but got to say, those African cichlid lava rock tanks look amazing. Thanks for taking the time to show them off.

Beautiful fish. How those babies are surviving is a miracle. Love the Clown loaches and those ACs. Big Fish Lad mentioned your channel, and here I am. Very nice tanks. With BBA, SAEs can help and so can Flag Fish. I went through a long battle and added phosphate pads and that seemed to help, but what ultimately handled BBA (IMO) was adding a lot more live plants that out competed for nutrients and the BBA disappeared. Thanks!

Awesome video if your having an algae issue you can always install a uv sterilizer on your filter I recommend the coral life turbo twist either the 6x or the 12x

Like72 Crystal and Julia I love Cichlids to Julia Julia do not buy a rock background you can make it. It will only take about an hour or two in about a day or two to cure, I know you commented on my video but if you need any pointers please I am here to help you it will only cost you about 50 bucks depending on how many you want to make. I just got white sand and that is the only thing I am going to regret in the new 125 build Because the sun is white, but I hated the black sand, because when it used to get dirty, it was almost burnt orange lol I got 3 of the silver sharks What is the fish that looks like a shark? Was that a catfish I want one 2 fx6 cool Lol I started with a 5 gallon hehehe lololol Pick up some dwarf grass I had some success with it Good video Bruce and Julia keep up the good work PS how long does it take for the fish to get that big I think I got way too many cichlids and other bigger fish lol
Thank you Joseph!! I managed to sorta fix the sand problem. I hooked up a wave making on the tank and aimed it at the sand the blow off the poop into the filter. I have it on a timer to go off for a few minutes every couple of hours. It seemed to work! If you and doing a Ciclid aquarium you can probably have the wave maker running all the time because they like the current!

What kind of co2 set up do yall have on that planted tank? I have a fluval 45g and it's manual and a major pain in the neck at 5:30 am when I wake up lol
I have my co2 hooked up to an Alexa smart switch. I set a routine to have it turn off and on at the same time everyday. Doing it manually is such a pain. I have a video called “new planted aquarium…will it finally work” and I talk about the co2 setup on the tank!

Great tanks, but you don’t know the first tang about fish names. Those beautiful striped fish, which you identified as “ Tiger fish “ are Chromobotia Macracanthus, the clown loach. You also misidentified two or three other fish and could not name another half dozen . Kudos to your ability to keep such a wide variety of fish alive n such good health . Learn more about the hobby before making another video.
