Hey guys! In this video, I travel up to Chicago, Illinois from Tampa, Florida aboard a United Airlines B737-800 painted in a sleek new livery! However, I wasn't originally planned to be on this plane. Call it luck of the Irish! My original flight was supposed to be on a United A319 2 hours after this flight, but when I looked at the departure screen and realized it was delayed a few hours which would in turn make me miss my last flight of the day, I knew I had to quickly find another alternative. Thankfully, this 737 was leaving roughly 40 minutes later and so I quickly rebooked myself onto it and was happily surprised when it sported United's new fresh livery (which I've really grown to love!). As far as the product onboard and service, I can tell United is getting better, but they can still add some more features onboard and make the pax experience even more comfortable for economy. Now, regarding COVID, this video was shot in March so the virus was really just starting to ramp up in the United States. So, no airline had implemented a mask requirement yet, but I still kept mine on the whole time on the plane and at the airports. My thoughts on how United handled things in March are at the end of the video. Besides these points, it was a beautiful day to fly and a nice flight. Hope you guys enjoy!
