no never taken one before but have an extreme interest in crime, the justice system, etc. so I've done a lot of research over the years. I've seen where people can easily mislead one. There is a reason why they are never used in court cases anymore.

storywritersings that’s weird....because on most crime shows that I have seen on the id channel....when they use a lie detector test guilty parties fail when they are hiding something. Not to say you can’t pass one if you are lying, but in most cases it’s not likely.

@@UrbanMaxxTV I've taken 5 of them. They're all BS. Its all a matter of how competent the examiner is or how much he likes/dislikes you. In my case, 2 of them, I passed with flying colors. In 2 others, they both went essentially the same: each examiner said something like, "well, I think you're mostly telling the truth but it appears you're thinking of something on one question I asked." In other words, it was mostly positive but still a little mixed. In the 5th one, I was all but called a crook. All 5 took place within about 2 years of each other back when employers did these as pre-screening tools. Its MOSTLY junk science. Anyway, putting all that aside, storywritersings is right: Pitino's results on a polygraph means nothing. People worshipping him as they are in these comments are disgusting. He's in it for one person: himself. Anyone that doesn't think that is a fool.
