It's odd because the man with the Pumpkin(in the first level), actually gives you the directions for each rose you see in the forest. The level is a mind game if you really don't know the directions. Belle sure didn't get lost in the movie...
I've never been able to complete this game in my childhood it was really hard Only made it to the 2nd level and then died and had to restart it all over again. It was a huge pain in the neck, but such a nostalgic feeling

Beauty and the Beast: Belle’s Quest is a Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis game based on the movie 🎥 of the same name. Unlike most games where the player controls the Beast, this game is produced from Belle’s point of view. The player must dodge Gaston and solve puzzle as she makes her way to the Beast where she kisses him and he turns back into a human being. Failing to solve some puzzle can kill Belle causing her to lose a life.
Omg, this game is my childhood. Same with the pocahontas one, they were amazing. Seeing them now i realize they weren't that good, but today's strandards are different.
watching this make's me wish i played this as a kid! but they did make a Super Princess Peach video game where this time you get to play as princess toadstool for who is now peach! and it is her turn to rescue mario and luigi from the evil king bowser ! ! ! ! !
and i just saw both of these beauty and the beast games being rented out in the video stores years ago way before going out of business! both the Roar of the Beast and Belle's Quest! i still like older and newer video games ^_^ ! ! ! ! !

There is a man with what looks like he is carrying a pumpkin, who says he was lost in the woods the other day, and tells you which way to go based on the color of the roses. The player here just makes it look easy.
I found this game some years ago under tons of ROMS, like 20 years after my Genesis-time in the 90s. I loved the village and the drawings immediatly, although it's a girl-game obviously. Now I have it in my collection. Beautiful to watch.
I don’t know what made me think of this game. I had my mom rent it for me as a little kid because it was my favorite Disney movie. This gameplay was so terrible. lol All Belle can do is walk, duck and hop around. And I remember just giving up because you just constantly go through doorways and openings with no map or any idea where the hell you’re supposed to go. 😂 Still, pretty music and visuals, though.
Yeah, in the first level you go through most of it avoiding Gaston. Only until finding that boulder blocking the waterway, is when the game directs you to get help from that same man who is stalking the crap out of belle, lmao! Also, there is another guy who looks like he is carrying a pumpkin, who tells of how he got through the woods. He is easy to miss if someone doesn't speak to all of the villagers. I remember getting so lost I turned the game off. I managed to get past it and somewhat complete the game, even though the next two levels were progressively worse, getting lost in the West Wing, and having to ride Philippe back to Beast's Castle.

fairymairah The Peach game sucks big time!! If you want to play as a girl in a decent retro game: For SEGA Genesis: Alysia Dragoon, Monsterworld IV, panorama Cotton, Burning force or Pocahontas. (2 and 3 are Japanese only) SNES: Yokai Buster, Magical Pop'n, Ghost Sweeper, Cotton 100% or Clocktower (all 5 are Japanese only but there are fan translations avaliable) More modern platformers: Shantae series.
Rolling rivers? I thought it was 'rolling hills'. I've never heard of 'rolling rivers'. The falling books make me think of the Bug Toss in The Lion King SG game. Except Belle doesn't say "I ate like a pig!" We didn't have this game when we were little (my sisters and I). We only had (and I still do) The Lion King, The Jungle Book, and Aladdin. I have those three and several other SG game.

Confession time: I was so stuck in the beginning of the first level with that rock when I was 5 that I thought it was a game design flaw and returned the game. Even the seller tested it out and couldn't get passed it and they refunded us.
Johnrings brought me here,well to me no matter how well this sort of rpg game follows the storyline,to me this game feels BORING and not only that am actually stun that gaston did help bell on her quest,he never helped her with anything in the anime film at all ,those bonus games reminds me of those 80’s arcade games but that’s it, Also i found it very droll how the game says at the end thank you for playing this gane,sure they are probably happy in that we wasted our time with it to see and probably enjoyed their creation of it, Well i don’t and am happy i never have to watch it again🤣
Cuando aparece una flor amarilla, ir al norte. Cuando aparece una flor blanca, ir al este. Cuando aparece una flor roja, al noroeste. A mí también me costó entenderlo, es medio choto el sistema.
Игра говно Eбychее, крайне не рекомендую, только балкон прошла с божьей помощью, заставили коня прыгать, который даже не может перепыгнуть озеро (оказалась, что игра из разряда нереального, по сравнению с ним уровень винкс про грязевое болото даже рядом не стоит). В итоге так и не прошла,а появилась только головная боль и сломанная психика. Не давайте в такое никому никогда играть. Раньше реально в игровой индустрии были темные времена. Берегите свою психику от такого. Автору видео спасибо большое за гайд 🌹, очень помогло (особенно с уровнем с розами и дверями)
