the bit around 29:00 is so god damn real. as someone thats new to league in general and by extension new to Briar I love that youre posting these types of videos. there have been a couple briar videos that ive watched but i never found them all that interesting or informative when it came to routes build guides that included reasons to use x over Y WHILE making them entertaining to watch and thats something ive only found with your content.

I don't really agree with some things, for example: Using PTA with the Domination tree, using Eyeball Collection and Treasure Hunter... If you want to deal more damage to tanks, Treasure Hunter loses its value after you get the 5 stacks. However, Sudden Impact deals 20-80 additional damage, making it a rune that has more value in the late game, that is, if you really want to go for the Domination tree. Lately, in some situations, I have opted to play with the Resolve tree, using Revitalize and Bone Plating (depending on the matchup: Kha, Lee, and other burst/combo champs). Oh, and if you're going for green Smite, you have one more reason to use this rune. You can also replace Bone Plating with Shield Bash or even Conditioning, depending on the game conditions. In the Precision tree, I have preferred using Cut Down instead of Coup de Grace, unless I have other people joining fights with me and plan to engage in long fights, building an Overlord's Bloodmail. In this case, the preference is for Last Stand.

Well let's look at some of your points! Treasure Hunter never loses value, it maxes out at 450g and that money is then spent on items so it always has value through the items that you buy. Sudden Impact at level 18 is 80 damage every 10 seconds implying you always have a cooldown for it, which never stops happening even if you play a 70 minute game which will not happen everytime. But I see your point to say that after you're passed full build Sudden Impact gains value which very rarely happens in Masters+ . Not to mention you're at most getting 2 Sudden Impact procs in a fight for 160 damage. While 450 gold will be scaling through whatever you bought / power spike timings which is different. All in all, preference. I prefer faster and harder item spikes you prefer a true damage on a 10 sec cooldown. Resolve tree is something that LOSES insane value in JG, Bone Plating is never worth for just 1 combo in JG fights, HEAVILY rethink this one ASAP. As a jungler your plan is to never take a bad fight so bringing this is implying a bad fight will happen and this will save you. Shield bash is whatever meh, damage is low other things are better. Conditioning is usually pretty good but Briar builds tankiness through health more than resistances. Overall this one isn't bad. Precision bottom row is all good tbh nothing wrong there

Around 29:00 you talk about people saying never post a video where you dont stomp. But i find it way more useful watching a game that you didnt destroy. Its easy to get a huge lead and just obliterate the game. Its not easy to have some struggling teammates and some unfortunate fights but still create a winning game out of it. So watching a game like that is infinitely more valuable in my opinion.

im not sure if you explain it later in the video but, you said black cleaver Is bad when you have a AP heavy team, (eg 2/3 ap champs) would you still run it? and if not, what would you replace it with?

Also another question, if you are snowballing out of control, is there a world in which you pick up crit or lethality with PTA runes just because you are up 2 kills or would you just stick to the main BC -> bork/titanic -> BC and just work with that

Thank you so much. I’ve always defaulted to the same thing every game and I felt like I was missing something in certain matchups. I’m taking notes as I watch this. Edit: What circumstances would you go inspiration secondary on PTA? I always go domination secondary for treasure hunter and extra damage from sudden impact as a default but I know boots and cosmic are also very good. Would it be determined by what build you’re going?

I'm not a very high rank player but in the game portion I don't agree that your items were optimal. Personally, I don't like starting titanic because it is more gold efficient later in the game due to it's health scaling. I actually mainly run edge of night as a first item on briar and I think its heavily slept on and would be perfect into enemy comp. Firstly lethalty (dirk first component) is very strong early game. Edge of night is a cheap item allowing you to get an earlier item spike. The spell shield is also huge for gank setups or 1v1s. Even if you don't go edge of night, I think sundered sky would have been a better 2nd item than black cleaver or steracks. Sundered sky has better burst potential and sustain for the skirmishes over objectives. Also, Olaf was the only one building armor but was 1/6 and weak throughout the entire game. Anyways I suggest you try starting edge of night, buying dirk on the first back allows you to win any 1v1 vs any jungler aside from a few like warwick. Anyways love the content, you definitely better than me but trust me its a sleeper

I’ve commented on multiple of your videos, so ur probably tired abt my crit rambling lmao, but imma keep going I feel like LDR is way better than yuntal in every single situation. Sure, you get less AD and no extra bleed, but the armor pen means you oneshotting faster, which is crit briars whole play style. You heal more, deal more dmg, and it’s better against tanks
