The work going on outside the stadium is going to be a fanzone, club museum and new retail store in time for the 150th anniversary.

What a video mate , pretty much had me in tears with that summary at the end which might sound pathetic to some but some people just don’t get it and those who don’t understand, don’t matter. The Rangers of old are back and by god there will be a lot more tears shed when that title is finally confirmed and lifted, its been a VERY hard 10 years. Fantastic video mate , done our club proud. Massive Rangers fan and come from the Vale of Leven, it's pronounced Lee-vin and is just a couple of miles northwest of Dumbarton beside Loch Lomond, oh and they are still around. They are a junior club side playing in the 7th tier.

Love the video, followed and supported the mighty Gers since I was a wee boy growing up in the east end. Ibrox Stadium is spectacular, it's arguably the only stadium that looks like a 5 star hotel. From what may look like a fire station from the outside, the inside with the marble flooring, etc is spectacular. It's a special place and one that has touched the hearts of so many. I'm proud to be a supporter and always gives me a sense of pride on big European nights when it is spectacularly lit at night. Looking forward to the new building getting built next to it which will be used for conferences, museum, etc. That is something you definitely need to tour if you get the chance when it opens as it'll give you a much in-depth about Rangers history rather than just showing some shirts on display.

Fantastic video Sam. Absolutely love this. Very good summary of Rangers history given the time constraint. One bit of history you missed that could have been included was Rangers two treble wins in 1976 and 1978 under Jock Wallace, and the famous Scottish cup win in 1973. So the 70s weren't a complete washout domestically for Rangers. Also a wee bit of early info. Before moving to the first Ibrox, Rangers actually ground shared with Third Lanark at Cathkin Park. Their first match at Ibrox in 1887 though was rather inauspicious to say the least. An 8-1 defeat to Preston North End.

Great video as always buddy. You'd probably be interested in Vlogging about football in the Vale of Leven (Pronounced Leevin btw). Vale's Millburn Park in still in Alexandria and they play in the West of Scotland League and Renton fc have an exhibition in the local library I believe

Wee heads up for you! You should check out West of Scotland Cricket Ground in Partick, Glasgow. It’s where the worlds first international between Scotland and England was held. It’s obviously not a football stadium anymore so you would never have thought. Might be worth a visit!

Yes I’m a big rangers fan and I used to train with Gazza and super ally at the west of Scotland cricket but when doing videos on one club train and put in where them use to twin to now as well

It has been my honour as a foreign student in Glasgow to live near this wonderful stadium. I visited it the first time for a university project and got to enter the grass, the bench, the stands, the press conference room, the trophies room, the changing room, etc for free. I would never expect that, not even in my wildest dreams. As an Olympiakos fan, I have every reason to support this team as your rivals are friends with our rivals. We eliminated your rivals in 1974. You also eliminated our rivals in 2008 on the way to the final. We are 6th in the world in terms of league titles and you are 1st. Also, we lost 21 supporters in 1981, while you lost 66 supporters in 1971. Also, we both had 10 years without winning the league. So many common things. I am so grateful to live in Ibrox!

Sorry Sam, but it was Fleshers' Haugh in Glasgow Green where Rangers were formed when a group of young men mainly from Gairloch stopped to watch a football match taking place, they took a liking to the sport and decided to form their own team, they played their first game against Clyde (not the present day club) on 15th July 1873 using the name "Argyle", but they unanimously decided to adopt the name 'Rangers' which was proposed by the famous Moses McNeil who had been reading about an English rugby team of that name.

Another good video Sam. I'll correct you on one point which is that Vale of Leven FC still exists and plays at Millburn Park in Alexandria. Leven rhymes with even. It's the name of the river.

Great video Scottish football is littered with history and although belittled south of the border we’ve held our own against English teams. When we’ve met them in Europe and big names from down south always defend our game as it’s literally war every match
