I'm so glad this interview exists. The sheer amount of people who do not understand that Defense Attorneys do not discuss what their client actually did, but rather, poke holes. That's it. Only when they are FLAT OUT innocent do the dive into actual events. This case is so wild me. It has surfaced so many content creators who made the switch to true crime...bc, -views pay money...and they do not understand the judicial system. Even established creators on RU-vid, twist the case, to keep people hooked. It's so sad. This mass murder is vile enough, Bryan doesn't need their help.
Many content creators are seeing clues from the beginning, things that the police missed There's nothing distorted Many incidents that occurred in Idaho that went unsolved, deaths, police corruption, cover-ups
As much as I want justice for the victims, this crap from LaBar makes my blood boil. Jason LaBar should be disbarred. He's really making the rounds on every news circuit he can get on for his own ego while BLATANTLY committing massive ethical violations. This man is the Chief Public Defender? I have SERIOUS concerns. Wtf. (Not the reporters' faults on all this, either - this man and his freaking mouth, lack of morals, and ego are the problems.) It's also just hugely disgusting to see this man co-opt the whole situation to serve his own ego - so disrespectful to the victims of all this
Uhm, you're a "journalist". Why didn't you ask him if his client waved the client/attorney privilege??? This interview is already incredibly unprofessional but you even missed that GIGANTIC elephant in the room
Here's a hint - if you ever end up in court, do not hire an idiot like this, who is supposed to be your defence attorney but is basically just marching you off to death row to save the state the trouble. AND while he's at it, opening the way to an appeal based on ineffective counsel. The reporter doesn't have much integrity either when it comes to protecting due process and making sure the media aren't contributing to a guilty person walking away free (if he is guilty).
