Full Irish Breakfast in Dublin 

I used to like my bacon crisp and was grossed out when my father liked it rubbery. Darned if now I don't find I like it slightly cooked and rubbery. As to the rashers, I've had thinly sliced, saltier ones that were just okay but I've found beautiful ones now the last three years that are thick, not too salty and so full of flavor. I'm 1/3 Irish and the entire month of March I celebrate it well and more than a handful of wonderful Irish breakfasts get consumed with friends and family. I personally find the white pudding to be tastier and thank goodness a lot of pubs in my area agree to hold the black pudding and give the equivalent in white. It's only February 3rd and I'm already chomping at the bit for March 1st to get here.

Now I just finished the cannabis desert. A sweet buzz after some great food! Gunna chill today and rest and nothing makes you feel more satisfied then some eggs, taters with onions, friend a half a tomato with bacon. No sausage or blood puddin but i am down for it, being half Irish & all. AHHH--THE BACON!! Now why do you think the Irish have such longevity in life?? here is fine an example. Thanks for the post. Prefer to cook my own, Some of us are gifted in the kitchen, I am one of them.

Exactly! I grew up with that breakfast and was able to kill all of that at 8 years old! Plus the pancake...what was that? At least have a potato pancake!

It's not hard to find non-touristy places. I mean, come on man....you were in Dublin and you go to Temple Bar? That's the most touristy area in the city. It's very easy to find non-touristy places. Just go off the main drag. Get yourself lost a little bit.

@@speedyspooley I've never been to Ireland but it's on my "bucket list" and from what I've heard about Dublin is don't go to the Temple Bar because its a complete tourist rip-off.

@@dancrosby9991 - If you've ever been to New York City....Temple Bar is like Times Square, in the sense that it's very crowded, full of tourists, and nothing's really "authentic" or local....just geared towards tourists. But, also like Times Square...I'd say, should be experienced at least once. Just don't stay long, and don't buy anything.

Ah ok haha. Well I looooooove the black pudding and I never had it before going to the UK and Ireland. I wish it was served more here in the U.S.

Black pudding with some brown sauce. Or try White pudding with ketchup. Both Amazing

And a tasteless faux pas, to boot!

Ulster Fry with farls, Full Irish with black and white pudding, both are far better than a full English.
