This convention makes me proud to be an american. Diverse personalities, and nothing but love and respect in the air.....Everyone has a place in our house! I can't wait to see whats on the agenda next year and the years to follow! We can do this!

Never in the history of campaign politics have I ever experienced the electrifying positivity of a political candidate like Tim Walz giving his most encouraging and inspiring speech I have ever witnessed in American politics. Although, I watched the Democratic National Convention via “podcast” it was exceedingly thrilling and satisfying as if I was there in person. Coming from Delaware myself I can say we are a stand-up people and the Biden family has always been stand up in every community not the middle class but the lower class as well miss Jill has been such a staple in are state in regards to education and putting forth meaningful initiative so every child in our state receives a good education. Biden is a truly great president - not for anything specific that he has done while being in office - but for what he did to remove himself from the campaign. Understanding that stepping back and allowing Kamala and Walz to take the reigns shows that he was willing to do what was best for America as a nation, rather than what was best for HIM. Trump would NEVER understand nor take part in that kind of sacrifice.
I actually voted for Obama twice, but I've come to despise him over the years. At the time I didn't realize that he was establishing identiy politics and race- baiting as the operating principle and main strategy of the Democratic party. The speech that Michelle Obama gave was one of the most despicable any Democrat has ever given.
