I've had to hike off the back of my family's laser downwind to keep the nose out of the water. No idea the wind speed but it was whipping. At one point I capsized and couldn't right the boat against the luffing sail. Had to roll the boat all the way 'round so the wind would lift the sail instead, then jumped on fast to stop it going all the way over again. Fun day. Only time I heard that hull hum.
