In this video I am installing full length running board lights on my 2019 F250 Lariat Crew Cab for under $80. Marine grade led strips coupled to a ford factory plug makes this install one connection plug and play. Simply clean the undercarriage of the truck, remove the adhesive backing of the lights, and stick them in position. Then connect the ends of the lights to the ford plug and connect to the factory plug already in place and available on most models. Works with fixed running boards or automatic running boards. and lights up the entire length of the truck for ease of entering and exiting the vehicle.

What brand of topper is that? I have a 2018 F-250 and haven’t found one I like, but like the look of yours.

It’s a leer XR 100. I have the decked system as well. It’s a sweet set up. Side windows slide open and have pet screen.

Question at old shop I worked at we did not use this plug because it was constant hot, have you had any issues since install, we went at our necks a few times because I was certain it should work.

No issues what so ever. Lights go off when cab lights and or running lights dim out. Works perfectly. Thanks for asking. Hope that helps

Hey what about the fuse that controls that plug? It stopped working on me when I did these lights

@@gunnerwatson2166 the fuse under the hood? I’ve been running these lights since install. Never had a fuse issue. Tell me more on what your experiencing. And hopefully I can give some insight.

I have that same plug got the harness connected the lights but not turning on any reason why?

Maybe check fuses. Or that the wiring from lights to plug isn’t reversed. I would start there. Undo your connection between the plugs and lights. And flip the black and red wires to the other sides. And test that. Most likely the cause. Keep me posted.

What gauge wire did you use to make the connectors longer?

12-16 awg. It was some wire I had left over from rewiring a utility trailers lights. I had bought a spool of black and a spool of red at the local big box store. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.
