Did it today & you guys nailed it! Unless you've done it you can't appreciate the effort needed.

Nice to see another one visit Llandegla and complete a loop. There's a couple of decent climbs requiring some serious effort, especially the switchblack climb about 3/4s around. There's been some tree felling since the footage - hope it wasn't too wet for you and you had a blast (and sampled the great cafe).

Takes a lot out of you the massive hill before the blue splits off. Hoping to try the red 4 the first time in a few days on my brand new (second hand 8 yrs old like) Marin east peak- this vid is a great help!

Thanks fella! Glad you enjoyed it. It's changed a little since I filmed it. The start has been felled a little so not as enclosed. Has probably changed even more since I was last there. Will be heading back sometime soon myself. Enjoy the trails and be sure to hit the cafe - it's pretty darn good

Thanks for the comment pal - yeah, great place but that vid is getting a bit old. Good excuse to get over there again methinks!

I done it today.. I took a few wrong turns and ended up on the red running path with a massive steep hill to climb then made my way onto the black path for a bit done a few jumps and then finally back onto the red... I'm absolutely goosed to say the least 😂

Haven't been there in a while now and it's changed a fair bit since that video. Looking at going back sometime soon and will do another vid. Sounds like you had an entertaining day - on the running track and a bit of black. Made it back in one piece though so all good. I'm sure you deserved a treat from the great cafe at the end! ☕️ 🍰

Done well there boys. We went up for the first time Sunday and did the blue followed by the red. Fair to say we was ruined for those climbs at the end of the red

Yeah, that switchback climb is a lung busting killer! I've been since the video was done and it's changed a fair bit (tree felling etc). Not sure where ya ventured up from but hope ya enjoyed it - hot drink and cake at the end is a good reward. Next time I'm there I'm hoping to do some of the black

@@FattMenlon We ventured out from Sheffield mate. We are hoping to get back at some point over the next couple of months to try some of the black instead of the blue route also. Amazing cafe!

Sheffield - great city and you'll have no doubt done lots of mtbing around the Peak. We were lucky enough to get a Cut Gate trip in over the summer and it was as dry as a bone - great loop around Ladybower and Langsett Reservoirs. We headed up to Gisburn a couple of weeks back, that was good - ya been?

Of course. You should be grand. It’s about the rider not the bike. As long as you know your limits and stay in what’s comfortable for you, you’ll be fine at Lee n Cragg Quarry
