kenneth murray was good last year. it's 100% a downgrade. and bozeman was rated as one of the worst centers in the league last year. not a huge upgrade but he was at least on a terrible oline so he should be better

As a chargers fan, Everett is a stud. Man turned a 2 yard check down into a 5 yard gain regularly

Hurst is a better blocker but Gerald was a straight dawg. Everytime he touched the ball he broke tackles.

Floor is like 9 wins

Floor 5-12 ceiling 9-8. Injury prone players in key positions and poor drafting for the last 3 - 4 years. Just a mid season injury to Herbert and this team loses out.

What is funny? He may surprise people, but will have to prove he belongs. So far in training camp he's looking pretty good. Not dropping a bunch, and seems to be looking the ball into his hands. The real improvement need is in his route running. He telegraphed his routes last year. Hopefully they can coach him into a good route runner. That will gain some separation.

@@YessirMikeDeanYessir I disagree they got worse on both ends. Their O-Line was bad and should be better with a new Center and adding Joe Alt. D-Line was crazy last season and has gotten even better (2nd year Tui and Dupree joining + Mack and Bosa). They lost two talented but injury prone WR's in Williams and Allen but Herbert had crazy stat seasons when Williams and Allen weren't playing. Their run game was non-existent last season and should definitely be improved this season with a better O-Line and bigger RB's. I think they're equal to the talent from last season but a huge improvement at coach, so I'm optimistic they will be above 500.

The running backs should be solid but that’s if they stay healthy which is why they probably drafted Kimani Vidal just in case one of them go down. O line is good but we did downgrade at center. I’ll say our floor is 8 wins and ceiling would be 12 wins

@@kevinmckay2483 maybe to start off with since he's a rookie. I watched him play at Georgia for years, I'm telling you guys, team's shouldn't sleep on him. Ladd really is an amazing player. If you guys liked Kennan Allen you are going to love Ladd. He's shifty, quick, finds the soft spot in the defense. Ladd played both sides of the ball in highschool, he knows the offense and defense. This is coming from a Chiefs fan who wanted him on the Chiefs so badly. I can't wait to see him play. Congratulations Chargers, you got my draft pick.

@David-eh3ht I'm being realistic. This is the first year with a real head coach. The defense has upgraded and already had the talent to be a top 5 defense each year with staley as coach but he had no idea what he was doing with the talent. The offensive line has upgraded not to mention the blocking tight ends and blocking power running backs that they have added to the offense. And the new lineup of recievers that have been added. Although they are new. They have justin herbert throwing them the football. So for all these experts saying that the chargers have one of the weakest reciever groups in the league is laughable. Nobody has seen what this group of recievers are capable of.And when they do they will be astounded. Ladd mcconkey is going to be to justin herbert what edellman and welker was to brady. The ultimate 3rd down conversion machine. And palmer has already had shown glimpses of greatness. And most importantly now going to play physical with an attitude and not the flamboyant gameplay as in the past. Mark my words this team is going to knock the opponents into next week.

I'm sorry, unproven? Herbert led the chargers to the playoffs without Keenan and Mike and a subpar o line. The o line got stronger and Palmer is proven to reliable. McConkey just might be a runnerup for rookie of the year but it'll go to a QB. Chargers are actually a playoff team all they needed really was coaching and Harbaugh is a proven winner

@@Tommysandy311 Justin Herbert has no ball catchers and the Chargers defense got worse. The Broncos have an a tolerable offense and defense. I would be shocked if the Chargers got more wins. The Raiders have an elite defense, they didn't get worse offensively and they earned 8 wins last season. Chargers had 5 with a vastly superior roster
