People keep saying that Chargers will continue to Charger, but internally, the owners have been slowly, but surely changing their ways to try and fix the things they’ve been doing wrong. After this, there’s nothing left to try. They have a franchise quarterback, they have a willingness to spend on talent, including talented coaches. They now have a head coach with a proven track record and hand picked staff including GM. There is an emphasis on establishing a physical run game and balancing it with the pass game and emphasis on all three phases of the game. Harbaugh isn’t a guy with an ego that’s going to call plays because he has experts for offense, defense and special teams, and all areas of the team working collectively as one mind. He even has a mind meld with his GM who he’s known for over 25 years since Baltimore. This staff isn’t a rag tag bunch, it’s Coach Harbaugh and 30 close knit professionals he’s picked through nearly four decades of playing and coaching in the NFL and College. We’ve seen Justin Herbert make the playoffs and barely miss the playoffs, while having no run game support or defense support and an inexperienced coach like Brandon Staley. Imagine the possibilities now.
I’ve noticed their change and development as long as it has taken. Their first move was to stop having free agency meltdowns and retaining their stars, albeit at a lack of sustained production, this was their first sign of attempting to grow as owners, then they let that mentality put them in a hole while learning from the mistakes and finally making the right coaching hire, spending stupid money to change the way the chargers players experience their daily work lives and giving them coaches that will actually bring out the best in them. The Spanos decided enough was enough with their ways, and I am happy to see it. The Bolt looks great, Wolfgang Puck is orchestrating meals. Winning has cured more illnesses than Penicillin.

Of course it is!!! Its the same way as a Bobby Ross and Marty Ball SYSTEM for WINNING IN NFL, get players to practice the way they play on game days as being harder than game itself for the players to play easier of executing within the game outlasting energy level of opposing teams. This system is ACTUALLY HOW EVERY TEAM DO THEIR SYSTEM AT EVERY LEVEL , even Pop Warner as I recall the way my coaches coached on to the High School days. To hear NFL Players taking things easy in their practices is to know those teams are the losers at the end, as with the TT JS and AG Front Office was and now no longer of Harbaugh coming in to bring back this system for US Fans to enjoy watching other team getting beat up on every snap. Hey, Harbaugh was a QB on the 86 Bears of his experience of the type of system he wants to coach.
When Harbaugh was fired from the 9ers....Madden said ' Good HCs are very hard to find, Management suits are easy to find'. Apparently, Harbaugh didn't crawl on his belly before the Management boys...so, they fired him.
Bro when last season started i told my cousin (chiefs fan) that the chargers (my favorite team) would do bad this season (2023-24) but next season we would be great (2024-25) and its shaping up to be true
Bro I remember Chargers fans spreading the Jim Harbaugh rumors as far back as August/September, well before the point in the season where we were hopelessly eliminated from the playoffs. I told all the Chargers faithful in my circle to trust the process. Slipping in 2023 would ultimately lead to greater gain. And really, it started back in 2022. Brandon Staley blowing that lead to the Jags wasn't what lost my faith in him. It was the week BEFORE the Jags game when he played our starters even though we were already locked in the 5 seed. Mike Williams and I think Joey Bosa got hurt, and there was no turning back for Staley. We were 5-12 but Staley was bailed out in 3 of those wins. But now it's different with Harbaugh and Ortiz. Now it's about having the depth pieces needed to play well down the stretch when starters are getting hurt. As a Chargers fan, I still give Harbaugh one more year before we start seeing in season results due to all the compromises we made with the Salary Cap. Making the playoffs would be okay, but what I REALLY want is for Harbaugh to win at least one Division title in his tenure
I can't wait for week 1. This time we REALLY play. I don't expect coach to turn it around from one day to the other, I mean, this team has a lot of work to be done. But I don't hold it passed this man. BTFU⚡️

Only problem with the chargers, you are in mahommes Division. You maybe have 1 if your lucky 2 seasons in the next 5 where you go farther then the Cheifs in that conference. Then you have to get past one of Burrow, Lamar Allen or stroud just to make the Super Bowl
2024 will introduce the NFL to the new toughest team. I dontvexpect the SB this year. But... from 2025 and on.... Chiefs will be chasing the Chargers....

We will see. I see Herbert exceeding Mahomes pretty much from now forward. Harbaugh is better than Reid. Our OL is better than yours which means our run game and pass protection is better than KCs as well. LACs need 1 more draft to take control of the AFC. Go review the growth of Michigan football with Harbaugh. Look ar Harbaugh at SF, Stanford and USD. KC defense is mid tier at best. KC receivers are new and unproven.

Mahommes worst season as a starter he loses in a conference finals, Herbert’s best season is throwing a second half huge lead to the jags in the playoffs. Love Harbaugh but running the ball first in the NFL is a great way to become the Titans. WIld card playoffs and lose. Herbert has a world class arm. Load up at WR and OL and letter rip.
Jesse Minter is an absolutely killer DC. They’ll run a similar scheme to the Ravens. Harbaugh will get the best out of Herbert. The Bolts will bring home a Lombardi…..but not before the Bills!!!! 😊 Good luck this season Bolts fans.

Keeping Herbert healthy is key. And to do this, Coach will bring a solid running game. Let Herbert throw 25-30 times and not play hero ball. Lets hope the Chargers stop disappointing fans by consistently being the most overhyped offseason team every offseason
Excellent editing and content-laden script. Rarely does the storyteller state what is going to be self-evident in the next clip (the only time I caught that was saying "Harbaugh's dream O-line came true ***when they drafted Joe Alt" and then shows a clip of Goodell "with the fifth pick, the LA Chargers select Joe Alt, offensive lineman" Other than that repetition, this video feels near perfect: the past, the present, the future possibilities for the powder blue. So many semi-pro talk shows put 15 minutes of content into a 45 minute shitty chitty chat.
I freaking love Coach! I would run through as many brick walls as this guy asked me to. He will lead the Chargers to the top. I will always be a die-hard Bears fan. Never cheer for anybody else except Coach's teams. I love this guy!
Great video...as a Football coach in HS, Harbaugh is a little hype hype but I really respect his ability to build culture. People ask me, what's a football culture? and I say, When the players speak the same expectations of each other as the coach and the equipment manager, that's culture!

please stop repeating the strength and conditioning BS. Go talk to any strength coach and they will their job is not to prevent injuries (Ben Herbert says it in his presser) and that injury is more correlated to luck and outside factors. furthermore, link me to a study that positively correlates resistance training with injury prevention. It doesn't exist. Injury prevention is a $1 billion industry. If Ben Herbert had the secret sauce, he would be making more than $1 million and stuck to working with one team. Herbert is a weight coach who gets a along with Jim. End of story. Anything else is marketing.
Since Norv turner, the chargers neglected toughness. It showed on the field. Toughness is more than just mental toughness, it’s strength and flexibility training, it’s repeated repetition, it’s being feared up front. When the chargers were at their peak, in the mid 2000s, the crowd chanted “you can’t run, you can’t run”. And the chargers were for years one of the best rated against the run. Harbaugh is the chargers new Schottenheimer.
Idk how we’re going to stop the run we’ve got noooo-BODY on the D line. Our corner room is pretty bleak too. The edges are amazing but i just don’t know if we’ll ever be in 3rd and long, i think teams will just run it straight up the middle. We need one more draft to get the defense right, then watch out

Better get the defense!! Yes, Harbaugh did awesome in SF and is great at motivating...but SF had a solid Defense when Harbaugh arrived. Lets see how this run works out.
San Diegan here. It doesn't matter who the coach is, or the trainer or even the quarterback. As long as Spanos owns the Chargers, they will NOT win a Super Bowl.
You gotta think through these edits my man. “Harbaugh’s going to install a good run game” [shows two clips of a charger scoring on good runs] “The chargers have been terrible at running.” That’s a confusing way to tell the story.
Finally someone that outright acknowledges Herbert’s talent and knack for to be a franchise QB, just doubted heavily because clowns on the internet equate everything to wins/losses. It’s a TEAM GAME, NO TEAM, NO WIN. One person cannot do everything and before anyone @‘s me with a Mahommes example, Andy Reid built a stronger team around KC years before Mahommes got there, they just needed a QB. Coaching is so overlooked and is so important to a team’s success and Harbaugh’s morale, grittiness, dedication, and fire is exactly what this team needs to succeed long term.
I am an Oregon fan. About time you got our guy a team and coach that will help him be what we all knew he could be in the NFL. Well done Chargers. Chargers look scary I will be watching with enthusiasm.
