Full "Mickey and the Magical Map" show at Disneyland - Debut performance 

i loved the message behind this. The magician at the end says, "The map will never be finished, as long as there's imagination left in the world." Disney people may recognize that quote as being from Walt Disney himself. He said that Disneyland would never be finished as long as there's imagination left in the world. It's a metaphor for Disneyland as a whole! I thought that they presented that in a very creative way. I wish they would've shown Walt, but i guess he'll always be there in spirit =]

It’s so tragic that this show had to go out the way it did, and I know I will miss it. Thank you to all the performers and your dedication to this show for the past 7 years. Rest in peace, Mickey and the Magical Map.

What Yen Sid said about the map never being finished as long as there is imagination in the world was what Walt Disney said about Disneyland

The best part is what Yensid said at 18:09 because it reflects what Walt Disney once said about his plans for Disneyland. What he said was, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." I'm gonna admit, that one line made me tear up in joy. :)

That trio of Mulan, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel made me cry with joy.

Found out that this show as well as Frozen: Live at the Hyperion has been closed down and will not be re-opening. Sad to see this show go and not get a proper closing show due to the pandemic. At least it will live forever through RU-vid. This show will definitely be missed. 😢

It baffles my mind that this show isnt talked about. This is one of the best shows in Disneyland. When the 3 princesses sing, I got emotional. Such an amazing perfomance.

This show looks amazing. Also one of the best elements of this show (to me) is that it utilizes material that clearly has a fanbase but usually isn't highlighted in the theme parks like Jungle Book, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tangled, Lilo & Stitch and Princess and the Frog. If only it didn't use the Little Mermaid I would say this is a total fresh show that didn't use its overused properties.

Every time I see this show, Pocahontas's voice gives me chills! This is such a wonderful show.

Okay not sure how anyone else feels about this but Lilo & Stitch NEVER gets old.

Oh my gosh this is AMAZING. Disneyland is top notch in live entertainment. Magic Kingdom could definitely learn a thing or two about live performances.

Fun Fact: the stage where this show is currently performed used to be known as Videopolis in the 1980s.

This was my family's favorite attraction at Disneyland. Rapunzel ROCKED at Disneyland from the Magical Map performance above, the awesome show in Fantasy Faire (her voice is better than Mandy Moore's) to her meet and greets. We saw Magical Map twice and the kids wanted to see it again. In both shows the crowd was so into the show and cheered as each character appeared. I can't get enough of that trumpet!

I love this show! The singing (with the exception of Flynn, Rapunzul, and the two soloists at the beginning) was phenomenal!

I love sorcerer Mickey Mouse . He is so cool it reminds me of Epic Mickey the video game with the magic paintbrush .

I wish they would add Ariel to 'Under the Sea' and Lilo and Stitch to 'Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride'. Besides that. AMAZING

When I saw this at Disneyland I was screaming “Epic Mickey 3!” -The show ended- “NOOOOOOOOO EPIC MICKEY 3 ):”

So, let me see if I got this right; Yensid and his Map Makers were working on a magical map using their enchanted paint brushes and mystical paint, and Mickey tried to help them complete the map by wielding the paint and brush himself, which resulted in activating the magic of the map and transporting Mickey into a magical world made up of various Disney movie moments. Is this the closest we're ever going to get to Epic Mickey the Musical?

I like how Yen Sid said Walt Disney's own catchphrase at 18:14. Also good that Yen Sid has been given a lot more recognition by Disney these day. In the 1988 "Mickey's 60th Birthday" TV special, they made up a new sorcerer.

Disney never ceases to amaze me. I am never disappointed with the entertainment they have to offer at the Disneyland Resort. I loved how they put that famous Walt Disney quote saying that "Disneyland will never be completed as long as there is imagination left in the world," and gave it to Yen Sid. The whole thing with Mickey and Yen Sid and the paintbrushes and everything also reminded me of Epic Mickey.

Perhaps they should have called this "Epic Mickey: The Musical" with the painting theme. All you need is Oswald (who still has yet to make his theme park appearance). Loved the medley of Just Around The Riverbend/Reflection/I See The Light, and it was great to see the underrated Disney Princesses get their time in the spotlight. Overall, the show is a great successor to "Animazement"! Great job!

I love how they use some of the ideas from Disney Epic Mickey! It really ties together the "lore" that Fantasia started all those years ago.

Seeing Pocahontas Mulan and Rapunzel singing together was a rare treat. And the ending with Tiana was incredible!

i don't see any small children in the audience. only adults nothing wrong with that tho

I feel a sense of Epic Mickey in this somehow. I LOVE IT!

I can't help but notice the other locations on the map on the screen other than just the only musical numbers in this show, I just couldn't believe Disney didn't have the time to add the other numbers of the other locations from the screen map in this show.

I'm kinda getting what Disney is trying to do with things like Epic Mickey and now this show, both which have Mickey wielding a paintbrush like a magic wand. Their trying to inspire children to be creative and artistic. I like that, it's a subtle message that they haven't made in years it's good to see :)

I liked how much difference they did from 2014 to the 2019 before the pandemic! They added some much stuff from lilo and stitch, to the outfit changes for Mickey! An so many others! I will miss this show soo much!

I also love that little take on I see the Light and i love at the end of the song Mulan and Pocahontas were singing it. That was beautiful.

That Tiana part was just so wholesome! And that trumpet guy should be recognized for his efforts! He ruled!

A journey into Mickey's Imagination? What a great show concept. I'm surprised they didn't think of that and utilize it into a show 20 years ago.

I saw this in person I loved popping the bubbles and love the singing I sort of yell during the show thought it was my first time in Disney okay don't judge me PLEASE

The show has more holes than Swiss Cheese (what is the connection between Epic Mickey, a map and the musical numbers beside branding, why isn't Tiana singing one of her own songs instead of Mama Odies song, why the obscure reference to Epcots Journey Into Imagination, rainbow flag and all, why are the dancers costumes Renaissance fair like etc) BUT for a theme park it works! Just sit, relax and enjoy. Highlight- singing princess trio. Lowlight-under the sea.

I remember seeing this show when it first came out and it was always a highlight for me(along with Soundsational Parade) whenever we got a chance to sit down and watch. Always bummed that there wasn’t much of a Lion King presence outside of Pride Rock’s small cameo on the map itself but I always just loved the colors and music. Let me tell you, Stitch wasn’t always there when it first showed up, so it was a real surprise and treat to see him show up suddenly during one show and those after :)

I saw this twice when I went there this summer, one for the public and the second for annual pass-holders. You need to watch the show in person to feel the magic! It is an overall great show with good music! I want to go back so badly.
