I do believe in the concept of soul mates- just not only in the romantic sense. Sometimes it is romantic partnership soul mates but sometimes it’s parents and children or co workers/collaborators. Sometimes our enemies are our soul mates, sometimes pets, animals plants. Expanding the awareness of what “soul mates” really are allows me to learn and appreciate deeper lessons- helps me to appreciate it all and grow.

The “giving back to your community” prompt made me think about BOUNDARIES!!!! I have an opportunity to give back to my high school theatre program (they currently are having a shift in leadership and they asked for my help). When I was in high school I gave my ALL to that school, that’s what I am. That’s what I do. And I know, and I’ve been warned, that if I continue considering going back right now in my life, they will suck me in and take all my time and energy away from me. That prompt made me realize that my problem with giving back is overextending myself and bending over backwards to give to others, and never giving time and grace to myself. So remember that boundaries are important.
Yes..especially if you are prone to be a ppl pleaser …my honest communication this month was setting boundaries to toxic ppl… we have to remember this, is holding space for this person beneficial to me or detrimental….let your GUT instincts decide!

This idea was never something I thought of before and it was just something that I wanted to contribute something to my community... Just funny how that works 😁

These girls have been through so much and hearing their stories always breaks my heart. But they have the brightest smiles whenever we visit! That's a cause which is close to my heart.

So to me giving back to my community would be putting my best self out there for my people. Investing in their business, giving knowledge to the community(people/person) on a topic, or even advice. In order to give to the community One have to expand the mind so in order to give back you have to go to those who will listen and grow. The community starts with a good mindset to help/share with others and that’s where I like to start.
