I absolutely adore my Morel Maximos. I had never heard clarity like that before. I instantly bought another set for one of my other cars. I can only imagine what the upper models sound like.
These sound amazing. The tweeters are so smooth. The more power you put into them sq doesn’t change they simply get louder without the tweets overpowering. It’s not until you turn it down you realize how loud it was.
Best part is when you guys both hoped out the car at the same time and went straight to the trunk. 🤣 you guys are on top of everything, i was looking in to the morel 4 channel. those specs are serious. CLASS AB !!!!!
These also get loud off low power. They are great for a factory upgrade where someone wants it louder without an amplifier. They are about 6db more sensitive then most 6” comps on the market
@@nithishsorock I feel like the focals as well as many brands as the volume increases the tweeters get scretchy where a morel tweeter stays the same tone but just gets louder, you don’t actually realize how loud your system was playing until you turn it down haha
While I really like your videos, I wish you would give some idea of the cost of the equipment. It would be very useful if you are interested in having new components installed in your vehicle.
Love your videos! Question....I have the morel hybrid 502 components and tempo ultra 502 coax speakers. I had the morel amp in this video but felt it was lacking the power to bring these to life, any suggestions on a better alternative that isn't crazy expensive?
I have morel maximo ultra 602 mk2 in the front door and I want to put speakers on the back door what would you give Morel Maximo Ultra 602HE or Morel MAXIMO 6 MKII or some coaxial ??
@@jeffmabry7775 I think you misunderstood my comment. Kicker is ok for loud. Morel is for sound quality. They are in different leagues in regards to sound quality.
Crossovers are disappointing, as usual. I don’t understand why manufacturers do not give you the ability to crossover higher for tweeters. There is no excuse for not letting customers set up an active system. (Edit: I am talking about the crossovers on the amp)
You don’t have to use the crossovers. You remove them and run it active. Also 3200hz is not bad for a passive component set that’s on the lower end price wise. Typically lower end sets cross tweeters at around 4000hz. In a 2 way front stage, you want around 2500hz or lower if possible. This raises the soundstage and helps with imaging. In this case the tweeters design and price point keep it from being crossed lower. But for a budget 2 way component set 3200hz is pretty good.
@@workingmanaudio2754 I’m not talking about the speakers, I am talking about the amp. That is why I commented about setting up the crossovers for active use.
