I know some people don’t like the HUTVERSE event, but FIFA has a similar event called shapeshifters and it’s always a great event. You’re able to use Goalkeepers as strikers, and tall strikers as goalies. Call me crazy but I love that HUT did this lmao
I absolutely love these hutverse cards it really adds something more to the game and it’s such a good idea, Great job EA 👏🏼👏🏼… that Shea Weber card I’m making after I’m done with Team Of The Year.
This game just feels like if you don’t play 5 hours a day and start right at release then you’re already too behind to be competitive. Or am I just bad?
I did the HUTVerse cards to get the free ToTY collectibles and they are really good cards, at 83 overall. I didn't power any of them up. Kopitar was a little slow but Weber is frickin amazing. I used them in SB and my HC run.
was fired up to build Weber and Kopitar but screw that, i prefer to play my favourite players in their actual position. Juiced cards nonetheless, just pissed as i was waiting a long time to finally get and Kopitar card
I felt the exact same way when I saw the 90 Kopitar I was stoked to make him. By far my favorite player and I'm a huge kings fan. Then I pulled the 90 weber and saw he was a forward and was confused. Very weird I wanted Kopitar as center don't need defense.
Any chance to use Kopitar on your 4th line and on the point on the power play? This way you could bury him down where he's less noticeable in your line up - and on the other hand, you might be able to use him on the point like you realistically could on the man advantage. The same goes for Weber: maybe put him on the 4th line c, and then let him rip it from the blue line on the PP?
I’m thinking about making Heiskanen or Mackinnon, I like them both equally but I like Heiskanens card art more, I don’t really care what’s meta I just want to have fun, also I already have TOTY mcdavid

I made Matthew tkachuk only because I had some players kicking around that I wasn't using to downgrade and get the Power up collectibles back to upgrade his x factor and then with all that I was saving up I had just enough to make his TOTY It was either that or Make none and this card looks really fun to play with especially going forward
@@stayawayfrommypercocets1382 Same here. I really wanted Heiskanen but sounds like Mackinnon is the better choice (its going to be close whether I can scrape up enough to make him). Also bummed I have Tkachuks xfactor but its only at 86 so would rather try to grind for Mackinnon.
QUESTION SLEEVES OR OTHER PPL! I fucked up. I made McDavid first (no xfactor), Mackinnon 2nd, and tkachuk (had xfactor). I have makers xfactor but am running low on resources. I can for sure make makars toty, but will prob not have enough for heiskanen. Should I make makars and try to get heiskanen or run the risk of getting heiskanen and still have makars xfactor?
Made McKinnon and choose Makar instead of McDavid even I have both XF. My third will be Heiskanen. I like the fact you can use the chemistry styles of defenders and they already activate one by just using one card. This might even be the reason why Ullmark could be a choice for me instead Heiskanen maybe
McD and McK are must , best cards , Makar doesnt have golden elite edges so i kept his xfactor , same all my friends and yes i gonna make Ullmark cause of synergies , he ll be my second goalie , Sogaard is GOAT
Made Mcdavid Mac and Makar. Out of the 3 I would say Mac has been the most noticeable. While the cards themselves are great I wouldnt say there OP. Its all about the 3+×3 boosts really. Like maybe if they gave Makar truculance then we can say OP, but dam that would be fun lol
I had x mc david maxed, 550k in coins and maybe 12 collectables in foder, started about a month and a bit ago so I’m even lucky if I made one if I didn’t have the x factor i probably wouldn’t have been able to make one so I had no choice but to get mcdavid a toty and I’ve played 2 games and my god
Gawd this event is literally making me hate this game. I saved as much as I could but I can't even afford one card. I can afford the discounted cards, as I have XF McDavid and Makar, but their cards are SOOOO similar to their XF. I would rather add a new player to my lineup like MacKinnon or Haeskenen. Every HC game this weekend is people with like 3 or 4 ToTY in their lineups. Like "hey I just spent $1000 to gain a temporary advantage in a fake hockey video game, i'm smart." This is my first year playing HUT and I can't keep up. I'm decent at the game, I can get 10+ wins in HC pretty regularly. I just feel like playing this mode trying to not spend any money is a full time job and I am hating that process. It's like Sat+Sun, Hut Champs days. Thursday and Friday is Rivals. Monday-Wed is SB. Fit in HUT Rush whenever. Exhausting. It's losing it's luster, quickly. I just barely made my 3rd 87ovr Team Builder. I am one player away from making my first Ultimate Icon. Every team I play has both Gretz and Mario and sometimes Howe. This is frustrating. I have a full time job, kids, and I can't play this mode.
I have McKinnon Mcdavid makar and heiskenan should I make the other two Tory cards ? ( I have enough cards to make 3 maybe 4 toty cards or should I wait for the other toty cards?

Made McDavid and mckar. All with 82s and 84s. Been saving all year. And a little luck having the xfactors. Blew 175k on that choice back and got 85 high. Not surprised I'll take it and I don't think I'll chase a 3rd as much as I like Mackinnon.
Can someone please help 🙏🏻… So I already made Makar, Mcdavid with their X factor trade ins, I also Made MacKinnon, I have 32 TOTY collectibles left and they are sitting in the Miro Set, I also have 280,000 coins along with a tradeable Pavel Zach, Should Sell my Pavel Zach so I can make Tkachuk? Or should I keep Pavel Zacha and forget about Tkachuk and just make Miro??? I also have Team Builder Modano and Lemieux and Gretzky so if I made Tkachuk he would most likely be in my Bottom 6 on the 3rd line so would it be better to keep Zach and just make Miro? so I’ll have Mcdavid, Makar, MacKinnon and Miro I also do want some flexibility with my team so I can add some cards threw out the year to keep the team fresh and not boring, What should I do? If someone could help me with this I would be sooo thankful 🙏🏻💯

Love the Hutverse idea. Game was in dire need of some levity. Brings me back to the early day of HUT where you could buy position change consumables and the cards still stayed tradable… I made and sold Ovi as LD for 800k or something ridiculous lol
I really don’t understand why they did not give it to Eichle, He also had a great playoffs and Vegas does not win that cup without Eichle, He also WON THE CUP LOL.. I swear this is the first time we haven’t had a cup winner or multiple, NHL 20 we had Binnignton and also Binnigton was only good in the playoffs, NHL 21 we had Tampa Hedman and Kucherov I believe, NHL 22 we had Hedman and Vassy, NHL 23 we had Makar and MacKinnon and this year no Stanley Cup champions…
@@Staxxx23 I’m speaking about EA not having a cup champion featured and Eichle should have gotten one over Tkachuk, But I’m pretty sure Miro Heiskanen from January 1st 2023 to October 31st 2023 had more points than EK65 including playoffs I’m pretty sure being Makar he had the most points.

@@alexisgoupil6457 He wasn’t nominated for team of the year if he was he should have gotten one but Eichle was the only Vegas player Nominated for TOTY so ya if you win the cup you should get one especially when Vegas does not win the cup without Eichle lmao everything runs threw the Center… Tkachuk had 24 points in 20 games and Eichle had 26 points in 22 games if Tkachuk got it because of the playoffs then Eichle should have gotten it instead the Event is called “Team of the year” not “Player of the year” they already gave the 2 best scoring forwards cards the 3rd card should have been Eichle for winning the cup… I’m not a Vegas fan but when you have an event called “Team of the year” it would be a good idea to actually feature a player from the literal Team of the year lol…

I have maxed out McDavid and Makar X-Factors so was planning on making those. I am hopefully going to scrape by and have enough to make McKinnon or Heiskanen. Sounds like McKinnon should be the choice? After watching your video it sounds like maybe keeping X-Factor Makar and making Heiskanen TOTY would be the play, but with the X-Factor discount is only way I can make McKinnon (as stated above). Am I making the right choice given that I can only make one of the full price TOTY cards (McKinnon?).
I am a Bs fan and love ully so I made him. Also made Miro and will make Mack. I also have tkachuk xf so my plan is to just keep mcdavid as an xf and make tkachuk. Unless I pull makar out of my X factor pack in 4 days

Wow, a mandatory quick addendum: thanks to your advice, I converted the collectible sets with the Players' packs awarderd with them first. And lo and effing behold... in those 7 packs that were only guaranteed something like 1 80+ card per pack IIRC, I first pulled a base McDavid (my first of the year). And in another pack, I was handed a random X-factor, which I was able to convert into a choice pack together with two other unusable ones sitting in the set already. Who'd I get from the choice set? Connor McDavid's X-factor, yes sir. So just by heeding to your due diligence, I was able to save a ton, and I am now on the cusp of being able to make a whopping 4 instead of the 3 TOTY cards I thought were possible. Good times.
Hey Sleeves I made maker TOTY because I have his X Factor before the free collectables came out. Now I’ll have enough to make Tkuchuk if I use all of my 250k. Is it worth it not? I could also use the coins for a team builder
My Tkachuk situation: Ended up building all three forwards as I couldn't have afforded 3rd card from scratch, but had resources for 100 collectibles and had Tkachuk xf and 11 PUCs saved.
